How to pair the Focal XS Book Wireless speaker via Bluetooth?

Make sure the receiver is free (no pairing in progress). Go to the Bluetooth menu of your source (smartphone, computer) and select 'Focal XS Book Wireless'. Once connected, start playing your music.

What to do if the speaker does not turn on?

Check that the power cable is properly connected to the speaker and a functional electrical outlet. Press the On/Standby button on the back. If the problem persists, contact Focal customer service.

Can I connect multiple sources simultaneously?

No, the aptX Bluetooth technology allows wireless connection of only one source to one receiver. To change the source, first disconnect the first, then connect the new one.

How to clean the Focal XS Book Wireless speaker?

Use a soft, dry cloth to dust the speaker. Never use liquid or abrasive products, as they could damage the finish or the drivers.

What is the power of the speaker?

Each speaker delivers 20 Watts RMS, i.e., 2 x 20 Watts total. This provides powerful and clear sound for indoor use.

Can I use the speaker with a television?

Yes, you can connect the speaker to a TV via the RCA or 3.5 mm jack inputs. If your TV does not have these outputs, you can use an adapter. Bluetooth connection is also possible if the TV is compatible.

How to connect the speaker with wires?

Use the supplied stereo RCA cable to connect a source (CD player, TV) to the speaker's RCA input, or the 3.5 mm jack cable for a smartphone, tablet, or computer. Make sure the speaker is powered on and the source is outputting sound.

What is the Bluetooth range?

The range is about 10 meters without obstacles. Walls or other obstacles can reduce this range.

What to do if the sound is saturated or distorted?

Reduce the volume on the source and/or the speaker. Check that the cables are properly connected and undamaged. Avoid setting the volume to maximum, especially with sources that have high output levels.

Where to find spare parts?

Bluetooth pairing

1. The receiver must be free (not currently paired).
2. Go to your source's Bluetooth pairing menu.
3. Select pairing with "Focal XS Book Wireless".
4. To enjoy your music, click "play" in your multimedia software.

Bluetooth aptX technology allows a wireless connection from only one source to only one receiver. For this reason, you cannot connect more than one source at once. If you wish to change from one music source to another, you will first have to unpair the first source to free up the receiver, and then connect the new source.
