How to install the Cecotec Energysilence 535 2in1 ceiling fan?

Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician. Fix the mounting plate to the ceiling, connect the wires (phase, neutral, ground) according to the diagram provided, then attach the motor and blades. Turn on power and test functions.

How to clean the fan without damaging it?

Use a soft, dry cloth. For the blades, a slightly damp cloth (soapy water) can be used, but dry thoroughly. Never use abrasive products, solvents, or high-pressure cleaners. Disconnect before cleaning.

What is the purpose of the reverse function on the fan?

The reverse function allows changing the rotation direction of the blades. In summer, the blades rotate counterclockwise to create a cooling breeze. In winter, clockwise to redistribute warm air from the ceiling to the floor.

The remote control does not work, what should I do?

Check the batteries (CR2032 type) and replace if necessary. Ensure no obstacles block the signal. Re-pair the remote by following the procedure: cut power for 10 seconds, restore, and press the 'Pair' button within 30 seconds.

The fan makes an abnormal noise, how to solve?

Check that the blades are properly balanced (use the balancing kit provided). Tighten the mounting screws. Ensure the housing is not touching the ceiling. If the noise persists, contact customer service.

Can I use the fan with a speed controller?

No, this model is not compatible with standard speed controllers. Use only the supplied remote control to change speeds. Using a controller may damage the motor.

How to change the LED bulb of the fan?

This model is equipped with an integrated LED module that is not user-replaceable. In case of failure, contact Cecotec customer service for a replacement under warranty or for a fee.

What is the recommended minimum ceiling height?

The recommended minimum height is 2.3 meters between the floor and the blades. Too low a height may present a risk of contact. For low ceilings, use a shorter downrod (optional).

Is the fan under warranty?

Yes, Cecotec offers a 2-year warranty on manufacturing defects (excluding wear parts such as batteries and LED lighting). The motor has an extended 3-year warranty. Keep the purchase receipt.

2. BEFORE USE

• This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the device out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent damage to the device when transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
• Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.

3. ASSEMBLY

1. Loosen the base fixing screw and the lower-tube joint. Then, fix the base and the lower tube with the base fixing screw and washer.

2. The fan can be mounted in two different ways:

3. Table fan: place the lower tube on the base and fix it with the base screw. Insert the fan body into the lower tube and tighten with the tube adjustment screw.

4. Pedestal fan: place the lower tube on the base and fix it with the base screw. Insert the upper tube into the lower tube and tighten with the tube adjustment screw. Then, insert the fan body into the upper tube and tighten with the tube adjustment screw.
5. Unscrew the screw on the blades and the screw on the rear grille from the motor shaft (Figure 2).
6. Insert the rear grille into the motor shaft ensuring that the three lock pins are positioned in their holes in the back grille.
7. Screw in the rear grille by turning it clockwise (Figure 3).
8. Secure the front and rear grilles together with the grille fastening ring.

NOTE:

Make sure the fan isn't plugged in during assembly.

4. OPERATION

1. Connect the plug to a suitable socket.
2. Turn the speed knob to set the desired speed:

0: off.

1: low speed.
2: medium speed.
3: high speed.

1. To make the fan oscillate from side to side, press the oscillation button on the motor housing. To stop the oscillation, pull up the oscillation button.
2. The fan head can be tilted up or down on a vertical axis, as shown in figure 4. Make sure the fan is unplugged from the power supply before making this adjustment.

5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Disconnect the fan from the power supply and allow it to cool down before cleaning it.
• Use a soft, slightly dampened cloth to clean the surface of the appliance.
• Never immerse the fan in water or other liquids.

• Do not use abrasive products such as solvents, acids, or alcohol to clean the plastic components, as these could be deformed or damaged.

• Keep the fan clean and store it in a dry place to avoid moisture.

• Do not use solvents, acid detergents, petrol, alcohol, etc. to clean the plastic parts, as they may be damaged.
• Use a vacuum cleaner to remove the dust that accumulates on the grilles. Do not remove the safety grille.
• Do not allow water to enter the motor or touch the cord during cleaning.
