- Read these instructions thoroughly before using the device. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.
- All safety instructions must be closely followed when using the appliance.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be carried out by unsupervised children.
- This device is designed for domestic use only and is not intended for bars, restaurants, farmhouses, hotels, motels, and offices.
- Check the power cable regularly for visible damage. If the cable is damaged, it must be repaired by the official Cecotec Technical Support Service to avoid any type of danger.
- Never insert fingers, pencils, or other objects through the air outlet when the appliance is running.
- Make sure the appliance is placed on a flat, stable surface when in use.
- Do not use the appliance near a window, as exposure to rain could cause electric shock.
- Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage stated on the appliance marking and that the wall outlet is earthed.
- Do not touch the blades or remove them during operation.
- Do not immerse the cable, plug, or any other non-removable part of the appliance in water or any other liquid. Do not expose the electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are dry before handling the plug or switching on the device.
- Never immerse the appliance in water. Do not touch the water!
- Do not carry or pull the appliance from the power cable. Do not use the power cable as handle. Do not push the cable against corners or sharp edges. Do not crush the power cable with the full weight of the appliance. Keep the cable away from hot surfaces.
- Do not operate the appliance if its cable, plug, or body show visible damage, do not operate properly, or have been dropped.
- Keep the product away from heat sources.
- Keep hair, clothes, fingers, and other body parts away from openings and moving parts of the product.
- Do not leave the appliance unattended while in use. Unplug it from the power supply when you finish using it and before leaving the room.
- Do not try to repair the appliance by yourself. Contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service.
- Always turn off and unplug the appliance when not in use,
before moving it to a new location, and before assembling or disassembling it. To avoid tripping hazards, wind the cable safely.
- Make sure the fan is not placed close to curtains or other objects it may become entangled with.
- Do not place the cord beneath the carpet or cover it. Place the appliance in a room with no obstacles and where it cannot be tipped over.
- Operate the fan in a wide area. Allow a free space of at least 20 cm between the appliance and the wall to ensure good air circulation when in operation.
- Keep this appliance and its power cable out of reach of children under the age of 8.

2. BEFORE USE
- This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the device out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent damage to the device when transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
- Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.

3. ASSEMBLY
- Loosen the base fixing screw and the lower-tube joint. Then, fix the base and the lower tube with the base fixing screw and washer.

The fan can be mounted in two different ways:

Table fan: place the lower tube on the base and fix it with the base screw. Insert the fan body into the lower tube and tighten with the tube adjustment screw.
- Pedestal fan: place the lower tube on the base and fix it with the base screw. Insert the upper tube into the lower tube and tighten with the tube adjustment screw. Then, insert the fan body into the upper tube and tighten with the tube adjustment screw.
- Unscrew the screw on the blades and the screw on the rear grille from the motor shaft (Figure 2).
- Insert the rear grille into the motor shaft ensuring that the three lock pins are positioned in their holes in the back grille.
- Screw in the rear grille by turning it clockwise (Figure 3).
- Secure the front and rear grilles together with the grille fastening ring.
NOTE:
Make sure the fan isn't plugged in during assembly.
4. OPERATION
- Connect the plug to a suitable socket.
- Turn the speed knob to set the desired speed:
0: off.
1: low speed.
2: medium speed.
3: high speed.
- To make the fan oscillate from side to side, press the oscillation button on the motor housing. To stop the oscillation, pull up the oscillation button.
- The fan head can be tilted up or down on a vertical axis, as shown in figure 4. Make sure the fan is unplugged from the power supply before making this adjustment.
5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Disconnect the fan from the power supply and allow it to cool down before cleaning it.
- Use a soft, slightly dampened cloth to clean the surface of the appliance.
- Never immerse the fan in water or other liquids.

Do not use abrasive products such as solvents, acids, or alcohol to clean the plastic components, as these could be deformed or damaged.

Keep the fan clean and store it in a dry place to avoid moisture.
- Do not use solvents, acid detergents, petrol, alcohol, etc. to clean the plastic parts, as they may be damaged.
- Use a vacuum cleaner to remove the dust that accumulates on the grilles. Do not remove the safety grille.
- Do not allow water to enter the motor or touch the cord during cleaning.

The power consumption in standby mode is 0 W using the guidelines of EN 50564:2011 and the European regulations 1275/2008/EC and 801/2013/EC. For this purpose, the device is connected to the mains without performing any function, waiting for the standby mode to be activated.

7. DISPOSAL OF OLD ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC APPLIANCES
