SOMMAIRE
Read these instructions thoroughly before using the fan. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.
- Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage stated on the rating label of the appliance and that the wall outlet is grounded.
- Do not use the appliance if its cord, plug or housing are damaged, nor after it malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any way.
- Do not use the fan in spaces with explosive or toxic vapours.
- Do not try to repair the fan by yourself. Contact the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec for advice.
- Cleaning and maintenance must be carried out according to this instruction manual to make sure it operates properly. Turn off and unplug the fan before cleaning it.
- Make sure the fan is not placed close to curtains or other objects that could tangle.
- Install the fan only in the ceiling.
- The minimum distance between the fan blades and the floor must be 2.3 m. If you hang the fan on a hook, it must withstand at least 100 kg.
- Switch off the power before connecting or repairing the fan.
- The electrical wiring must be in accordance with the local regulations.
- Never install the fan in a moist or wet room.
- Be careful when working near the rotating blades.
- The appliance shall be installed in accordance with national wiring regulations.
- In order to ensure your children safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene, etc.) away from their reach.

This fan is designed for indoor use. Do not use it for industrial or commercial purposes.

This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children should not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be carried out by unsupervised children.
- The installation of an earthed socket must be carried out by a qualified electrician.
- The order of the installation of the wires should be earthed wire, live (power) wire / neutral wire, and the order of the de-installation of the wires should be neutral wire / live (power) wire, earthed wire.
- Make sure all screws are firmly tightened during assembly.
- To reduce the risk of injury, do not touch the blades when the fan is operating.

2. BEFORE USE
- This product includes a package designed to protect it during transport. Take the fan out of the box and store the original box and other elements in a safe place, this will help you prevent product damage when transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
- Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or not in good condition, immediately contact the Technical Support Service of Cecotec.

3. INSTALLATION
Necessary tools for the installation (not included)

1. Bracket installation
Concrete ceiling
Drill two holes of a proper depth (an 8-mm diameter) and introduce two expansion screws on the holes; then, fix the installation bracket (1) to the expansion screws with the wood screws and tighten them with the expansion screws nuts. Fig. 3
Wooden ceiling
Fix the installation bracket (1) to the wooden ceiling with 4 wood screws (of at least 7-cm thickness). Fig. 4
2. Lamp bracket installation
- Loosen the four screws located on the lower surface of the main body (9) of the fan and remove a screw for later use. Fig. 5
- Join the LED light bracket (11) to the main body (9) of the fan by turning the bracket (11) until it is fixed and aligned with the three screws of the main body (9) of the fan; then, tighten the screws and the previously removed screw. Fig. 6
3. Installation of the hanging system
- Remove the pin (6) from the down rod (3) by removing the R clip (7) and pass the power cable through the down rod (3), the canopy (4) and the trim (8). Next, fix the down rod (3) in the main body (9) of the fan and turn it until the holes match the holes in the main body of the fan. Finally, pass the pin (6) through the holes and fix it with the R clip (7) in the other end. Fig. 7-8
- Place the down rod (3) with the hanging ball (2) in the installation bracket (1), turn it all until the 'tab' on the installation bracket (1) is placed in the 'slot' of the down rod (3) and it is fixed properly. Fig. 9
- Lift the canopy (4) to the ceiling to cover the installation bracket (1) (make sure the canopy (4) is fixed in the two bracket screws), turn the canopy (4) to ensure the screw head is in the narrow end of the canopy holes and tighten the screws. Fig. 10
4. Electric installation
To carry out the electric installation, follow the steps shown in figure 11. Follow the colour code and be especially careful with the following indications:
- Connect the 3-pin connection (3P) to the 3-pin connection.
- Connect the 2-pin connection (2P) to the 2-pin connection.
- Connect the 1-pin connection (1P) to the 1-pin connection.
5. Lamp glass shade assembly
Align the slot on the glass shade (10) with the slot on the main body (9) of the fan, then, turn the glass shade (10) smoothly until it is fixed. Fig. 12
6. How to balance the fan
The fan has been balanced before shipping, but this balance may be affected during transport. Balance the fan following the following steps if the fan is unstable during the installation:
- Take the two magnetic parts from the balance kit and place them in the upper surface of the fan, and turn on the fan to check if it is still unstable. Repeat the process until you find the position in which it is stable.
- Remove the magnetic parts and stick the other part of the balance kit in place.
4. OPERATION

Once you have installed the ceiling fan, you can start using it.
- Press the on/off button (3) and the blades will start moving. Press the button (4) to choose the desired fan speed, so you can set the blades spin speed.
- Press the on/off light button (1) to turn the LED light on or off. You can also modify the light shade, from neutral, warm or cold, by pressing the light shade modification button (2).
- This ceiling fan is fitted with a timer, press the button with the desired time, the different options are 1, 2, 4 or 8 hours.
- Finally, this fan also has winter-summer function, press the winter-summer function button (6) to reverse the direction of rotation of the blades. In the summer mode, the blades generate a nice breeze. However, in the winter mode the blades push the hot air concentrated in the ceiling down to the floor.
- Press the button (7) to select the breeze mode, in which the fan will generate an air flow similar to breeze.
5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Disconnect the fan from the power supply and allow it to cool down before cleaning it.
- Never immerse the fan in water or other liquid.
- Clean with a soft, dry cloth.
- Do not use any cleaning chemicals such as detergents and abrasives.
- Do not allow condensation to come into contact with any of the electrical parts of the fan.
- Do not use a wet cloth to clean the motor. Keep the fan clean and dry.
- We recommend using neutral detergent and a soft cloth. Do not use solvents, acid detergents, petrol, alcohol, etc. to clean the plastic parts, as they may be damaged.
- Do not allow water to enter the motor or touch the cord during cleaning.
6. TROUBLESHOOTING
The fan does not operate
- Make sure the cable connections on the fan are correct.
- Make sure the power inlet is suitable.
The fan is noisy
- Check all the screws are tightened.
- Make sure that the cable nut connections do not rub against each other or against the interior wall of the switch housing.
