3. OPERATION

This vacuum cleaner can be used in two different ways:

• As a handheld vacuum cleaner, by attaching accessories directly to the main body.

• As an upright vacuum cleaner, using the flexible suction tube with accessories attached to it.

• Insert the flexible suction tube into the main body until you hear a click.

• Attach the brush or desired accessory to the other end of the flexible suction tube as shown in Figure 2.
• Press the power button to start operation.

Accessories

This vacuum cleaner includes different accessories for cleaning various types of surfaces, objects and dirt. Some are used with the upright configuration and others are preferably used with the handheld configuration.

2-in-1 accessory

Use this accessory for cleaning upholstered surfaces, keyboards, lamps, curtains, blinds, ventilation grilles, etc.

Flexible suction tube

Use the Flex tube to access and vacuum dirt from hard-to-reach areas. Press the Flex button to bend the tube.

4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Emptying the dust container

Press the dust container opening button to open the lid for easy emptying.

Filter maintenance

1. Press the dust container release button.
2. Remove the filter holder and then remove the filter. Fig. 3
3. Wash the filter holder.

NOTE: Ensure the filtration system is completely dry before reassembling.

Using the cleaning brush

A. Use the brush side to clean the metal mesh and inlet filter. Fig. 4
B. Use the blade side to remove tangled hair from the brush. Fig. 5.

5. TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem	Possible solution
The suction power weakens	Empty the dust container.Clean the filter.Check if the dust container is properly installed.
The roller brush stops spinning and makes an unusual noise	Check if the brush (especially the bearing part) is clogged with hair.Check if the filter holder is properly installed in the correct position.Remove the tube and use the vacuum cleaner with the handheld configuration. If the problem persists, contact Cecotec's Official Technical Support Service.
