Operations
The appliance can be used as an extractor (extraction of vapors) or as an absorber (vapors are filtered and directed back into the room). Cooker hood models without engine operate exclusively as an extractor and must be connected to an external engine (not included). Relevant connection instructions are provided with the external engine

Cooker hood operating as an extractor
Vapors are extracted through an extraction pipe mounted on the joint flange.
Extraction pipe's diameter must be equal to joint flange's diameter.
Caution! Extracting pipe is not included with the appliance, it needs to be purchased separately.
In the horizontal section, the pipe must have slight upward inclination (approx. 10° ), to facilitate air outflow. If the cooker hood is equipped with charcoal filters, they must be removed.
Connect the cooker hood to the ventilation duct with an extraction pipe of diameter matching the size of the cooker hood's outlet (joint flange).
Usage of pipes with smaller diameter will decrease suction capacity and significantly increase cooker hood's noise level. Manufacturer cannot be held liable for this condition.

Use the shortest possible ducting.
Use ducting with as few bends as possible (maximum bend radius: 90° ).
Avoid ducting with significant changes of diameter.
Use ducting with internal surface as smooth as possible.
Ducting must be made of material compliant with all applicable standards.

Cooker hood operating as an absorber

Mains supply connection
Mains supply voltage must match the voltage on the data plate located on the inside of the cooker hood. Cooker hood is equipped with a plug, which needs to be connected to the electrical connection socket compliant with current standards and located in an easily accessible place, also after installation is finished. Caution! Before you reconnect the cooker hood to the mains supply to check if it functions properly, ensure that the power cable is mounted correctly. Cooker hood comes with a special power cable. If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced at an authorized service agent or at the cooker hood supplier's.
