Frequently Asked Questions - VE-90BGAWH VESTFROST

How do I install the Vestfrost VE-90BGAWH range hood?
Installation should be done by a qualified professional. The hood must be mounted at a minimum height of 65 cm above electric hobs and 75 cm above gas hobs. Ensure the wall can support the weight and follow the provided template for drilling.
Can the VE-90BGAWH be used in recirculation mode?
Yes, it can be used as a recirculation hood. You need to purchase and install a carbon filter (activated charcoal) to absorb odors. The carbon filter is not included and must be replaced periodically.
How often should I clean the grease filter?
The aluminum grease filter should be cleaned every 2-3 months, or more frequently with heavy use. It is dishwasher safe. Remove the filter and wash it in the dishwasher or by hand with mild detergent.
How do I replace the LED light?
The LED light is integrated and should be replaced by a qualified technician. If the light fails, contact Vestfrost customer service or an authorized service center for assistance.
Why is the range hood noisy?
Noise can be due to improper installation, loose parts, or a clogged filter. Check that the hood is securely mounted and that the grease filter is clean. Operating at maximum speed will also increase noise levels.
Can I use the hood without the carbon filter?
Yes, when venting to the outside (ducting mode), the carbon filter is not required. The hood works efficiently with just the aluminum grease filter. Only use the carbon filter in recirculation mode.
What are the dimensions of the VE-90BGAWH?
The dimensions are approximately 90 cm (width) x 50 cm (depth) x 60 cm (height). The ducting outlet diameter is 150 mm. Always measure your space before installation.
How do I control the fan speed?
The hood has three speed settings controlled by a slider switch. Slide to the desired position: low (1), medium (2), or high (3). Adjust based on cooking intensity.
Does the hood come with a warranty?
Yes, Vestfrost offers a standard 2-year warranty for the VE-90BGAWH. Warranty covers manufacturing defects but does not cover normal wear, misuse, or damage from improper installation. Keep your receipt.
Where can I find the user manual?
The user manual is available for free download in PDF format from notice-facile.com. You can also request a translated version by providing your language preference and email.

Relevant connection instructions are provided with the external engine

Vapors are extracted through an extraction pipe mounted on the joint flange.

Extraction pipe's diameter must be equal to joint flange's diameter.

Caution! Extracting pipe is not included with the appliance, it needs to be purchased separately.
