Frequently Asked Questions - TURBINE KT 76 SUPRA

What is the diameter of the flue pipe?
The diameter of the flue pipe is 150 mm (6 inches). It is recommended to use a pipe suitable for wood stoves.
How to light the stove efficiently?
Use the top-down lighting method: place small logs in a crisscross pattern, kindling, and a firelighter. Open the air inlet fully for 10 to 15 minutes.
What is the efficiency of this stove?
The efficiency is about 75%, which corresponds to a Flamme Verte 7-star label.
How to maintain the glass?
Clean the glass regularly with a damp cloth and white vinegar or a specific stove glass cleaner. Avoid abrasives.
What is the frequency of chimney sweeping?
Chimney sweeping must be carried out at least twice a year, preferably before and after the heating season, by a qualified professional.
Can you burn wet wood?
No, only use dry wood with a moisture content below 20%. Wet wood clogs the stove and reduces efficiency.
What are the safety distances?
Maintain a distance of at least 50 cm between the stove and any combustible material (furniture, walls). The floor must be protected by a floor plate.
How to adjust the air inlet?
The primary air inlet (under the door) controls combustion, the secondary air (above the glass) cleans the glass. Refer to the manual for optimal settings.
Where to find spare parts?
Spare parts (glass, seals, grate) are available from your Supra dealer or on specialized websites. Always use genuine parts.
The stove produces smoke in the room, what to do?
Check that the flue pipe is not blocked, the door is closed properly, and the air inlet is open. If the problem persists, contact a professional.

2. OPERATING PRINCIPLE

The blower kit accelerates the circulation of air inside the fire housing. The warm air is blown out of the front of the fire (when installed as an insert or a closed fire) and/or through the ducts (when installed as a closed fire), allowing the room to be heated more quickly. The circulation of warm air increases the feeling of heat in the room for an equivalent consumption of wood. The thermostat controls the operation of the blower (switching on/off). If the temperature is lower than the threshold set, the blower cuts out (the thermostat threshold is pre-set in the factory and cannot be changed); thus, the pulsed air is never cold air.

3. CONNECTION

Plug the blower kit lead into a wall socket with an earth connection and a protection specific to the device (omnipolar device with a contact opening distance of at least

3 mm in accordance with current electrical regulations). Protect the lead against any risk of damage (pulling out, cutting, burning, overheating, ...).

4. USE

BLOWING SPEEDS

0 Off

II Maximum speed Continuously pulses the air at a high rate. I Comfort speed

Blowing controlled by the pre-set thermostat, silently pulses the warm air. On position I, blowing stops when the stove is out (depending on the temperature).

On position II, blowing is continuous and air is blown at ambient temperature if the stove is out.

Position II allows the room to be heated faster after the stove is lit.

Then select position I to keep the room comfortable and ensure that the blowers stops when the stove is no longer heating.

5. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Do not touch the hot stove when touching the switch, as you may burn yourself.
