Frequently Asked Questions - HEATING COOLING ROINTE

How do I install the Rointe Heating Cooling unit?

Place the unit on a flat, stable surface near a power socket. Ensure at least 30 cm clearance around it for proper airflow. Do not install outdoors or in humid areas.

Can I use the heater without water?

Yes, the unit operates as a dry electric heater. No water is required for heating mode.

How to switch between heating and cooling modes?

Use the mode button on the remote or control panel to select Heating (sun icon) or Cooling (snowflake icon). The unit will adjust automatically.

Why is my unit not cooling properly?

Check if the filter is clean. A dirty filter reduces airflow. Also ensure the room is not too large for the unit's capacity (max 25 m²). If problem persists, contact support.

How often should I clean the filter?

Clean the filter every two weeks under normal use. Remove the filter, wash with mild soap and water, let dry completely before reinserting.

Does the unit have a timer function?

Yes, you can set a 24-hour timer to turn the unit on or off automatically. Press the Timer button and set the desired time.

What does the error code E1 mean?

Error E1 indicates a sensor fault. Try resetting the unit by unplugging it for 10 minutes. If the error persists, contact Rointe service.

Can I leave the unit on overnight for heating?

Yes, the unit is designed for continuous operation. Use the Sleep mode for quieter operation and automatic temperature adjustment.

How do I store the unit when not in use?

Clean and dry the filter, turn off the unit, disconnect power, and store in a dry place away from direct sunlight. Cover to protect from dust.

Is the remote control included in the package?

Yes, the Rointe Heating Cooling comes with a remote control. Batteries (AAA) are not included, please provide two AAA batteries.
