How to use the thermostat?

Turn the thermostat dial to adjust the temperature. The eco position (around 20°C) is recommended for daily use.

Can I leave the heater on at night?

Yes, the heater has frost protection and automatic shutdown in case of tipping. Make sure it is stable and clear.

How to clean the heater?

Unplug the appliance and wait for it to cool down. Wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive or corrosive products.

What to do if the heater does not heat?

Check that the thermostat is set to a sufficient temperature and that the appliance is plugged in. If the problem persists, contact Cecotec customer service.

Does the heater make noise?

The oil-filled radiator is generally silent. A slight clicking may occur during oil expansion, which is normal.

How to use the frost protection function?

Set the thermostat to the frost protection position (often marked with a snowflake). The heater maintains a minimum temperature to prevent freezing.

Can I use an extension cord?

It is not recommended to use an extension cord as it may cause overheating. Plug directly into a wall outlet.

How to install the casters?

Turn the heater over on a soft surface. Screw the four casters into the holes provided at the base. Make sure they are securely attached.

What is the minimum height to place the heater?

Place the heater on a stable and flat surface, at least 30 cm from walls and furniture for proper air circulation.

How to know if the heater is broken?

If the appliance does not turn on or heat after checking settings and power, contact Cecotec after-sales service. Do not attempt to repair it yourself.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read these instructions thoroughly before using the appliance. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.

• Ensure that the mains voltage matches the voltage specified on the device rating label and that the plug is earthed.
• This appliance is designed for domestic use only and is not intended for bars, restaurants, farmhouses, hotels, motels, and offices. Do not use the appliance for industrial or commercial purposes.
• This appliance is not suitable for primary heating purposes
• This appliance is only suitable for well insulated spaces or occasional use.

• Keep the device out of the reach of children under 3 years old, unless constantly supervised.

• Children between 3 and 8 years old should only switch the appliance on or off when it has been placed in its normal, intended operating position and if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children between 3 and 8 years old should not plug in, adjust, and clean the appliance and should not carry out maintenance tasks.

• CAUTION: some of the product's parts may become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention should be paid when children and/or vulnerable people are present.
• This appliance can be used by children aged 8 and above and people with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, as long as they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. • This heater is filled with exactly the right amount of special oil. Any reparation that requires opening the oil tank must be

carried out by the manufacturer and authorised personnel. Contact Cecotec's official Technical Support Service in case of oil leakage.

• Follow the special regulations concerning the disposal of oil when the device is going to be disposed of.
• Check the power cable regularly for visible damage. If the cable is damaged, it must be repaired by the official Cecotec Technical Support Service to avoid any type of danger.
• Do not place the appliance close to heat sources, flammable substances, wet surfaces or allow it to come into contact with water or other liquids. Do not use outdoors.
• Do not operate the device in rooms smaller than 5 m^2 .
• Do not cover the air inlet or outlet during operation. Keep a minimum distance of 1 m between the device and other objects or walls.
• The product's surface will reach high temperatures during operation. Avoid skin from getting in contact with it and use the handle to move it.
• Avoid using extension cords, as they could overheat and cause risk of fire.

2. BEFORE USE

• This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the appliance out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place to prevent damage to the device if you need to transport it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
• Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.

3. INSTALLATION

1 Remove the heater and other parts from the packaging box.
2 To mount the feet, turn the heater upside down.
3 Place the feet between the first and the last lower heating element. Fig. 2
4 Lift the heater and place it in an upright position.

4. OPERATION

- Place the heater on the floor at least 90 cm away from the wall and any other objects such as furniture, curtains or plants.

• Make sure that the power supply in your home matches the technical specifications of the appliance.
• Before plugging the appliance into a wall socket, make sure that both the adjustable thermostat and the power switch are in the off position.
• The room temperature can be regulated by the thermostat. Simply turn the thermostat knob clockwise to increase the power, and counterclockwise to decrease it, until the desired temperature is reached.
• The indicator light will light up while the appliance is running.
• Do not cover the heater at any time during operation. There is a risk of fire if the appliance is covered.
• When you have finished using the heater, make sure that both the adjustable thermostat and the power switch are in the off position. Then, unplug the appliance from the mains socket.

5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Always unplug the appliance from the mains before cleaning.
• Clean the outside of the heater and heating elements with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
• Do not use waxes or polishes, as they may damage the appliance and discolour it.

Storage

• Keep the box for storage.
• Clean the heater according to the cleaning instructions above.
• Remove the base feet.
• Place the heater and feet in the original box and store in a cool, dry place.
• If you prefer to store the appliance unassembled and out of the box, be sure to cover it well to protect it from dust.
