How to thread the needle?
Use the built-in needle threader: lower the threader lever behind the needle, pass the thread through the hook, then release the lever. The thread will be threaded automatically.
How to use the Integrated Dual Feed (IDT™)?
The IDT™ is located on the machine arm. Lower it to engage, raise it to disengage. It ensures perfect fabric feeding from top and bottom, ideal for quilting and difficult fabrics.
How to change the presser foot?
Raise the presser foot lever, press the release button at the back of the foot to remove it. To attach a new one, simply snap it on by pushing down until it clicks. No tools needed.
How to wind the bobbin?
Place thread on the bobbin pin, guide as indicated, then push the winder to the right. The machine will wind automatically and stop when the bobbin is full. You can wind directly from the needle without rethreading.
How to adjust thread tension?
Tension is electronic and adjusts automatically according to the selected stitch. However, you can manually adjust it using the + and - keys on the screen. For most fabrics, the default tension is suitable.
How to use the automatic thread cutter?
After sewing, press the thread cutter button (Thread Snips). The machine cuts the upper and bobbin threads automatically. You can also program the thread cutter into a stitch sequence.
How to use the knee lift?
The knee lift is located under the machine table. Push it sideways with your knee to raise the presser foot, freeing your hands to guide the fabric.
How to select stitches?
Use the direct selection keys on the front panel or the touch screen. You can browse categories (utility, decorative, buttonholes, etc.) and tap the desired stitch. The screen displays the stitch in actual size.
How to clean the machine?
Unplug the machine. Remove the bobbin case and needle plate. Use a small brush to remove lint from the feed dogs and bobbin case. Oil according to the manual's recommendations. Reassemble.
What to do if thread breaks frequently?
Check the threading, tension, and needle condition. Ensure the bobbin is correctly inserted and the thread is not caught. Use a needle appropriate for the fabric. If the problem persists, consult the troubleshooting section of the manual.
