How to start the WIE-PC-200 pellet press for the first time?
Make sure the machine is properly installed on a flat and stable surface. Connect the three-phase power supply. Check the oil level of the gearbox. Place the raw material (moisture <15%) in the hopper. Start the motor idling for 30 seconds, then gradually introduce the material. Adjust the flow rate using the variator.
What is the ideal moisture of raw materials?
Optimal moisture is between 12% and 15%. Too high moisture causes clogging, too low moisture gives brittle pellets. Use a moisture meter to check.
How to clean the press die?
After each use, run the machine empty with a mixture of wood sawdust and linseed oil (ratio 10:1) to lubricate and prevent rust. If the die is clogged, use a drill with a 6 mm bit to clear the holes.
What to do if the machine produces poor quality pellets?
Check the moisture of the material. Check the wear of the rollers and die. Adjust the gap between the rollers and die (0.1-0.3 mm). Increase the preheating temperature if necessary (the material should reach 70-90°C).
