Frequently Asked Questions - PC-035P27 HTW
How to install the PC-035P27 air conditioner?
Place the unit near a window or door to exhaust hot air via the exhaust kit. Make sure the exhaust hose is straight and not bent. Plug into a 220-240V outlet.
How to clean the filters?
Turn off and unplug the unit. Open the front grille, remove the filters and wash them with warm soapy water. Dry completely before reinstalling. Clean every 2 weeks.
What to do if the unit does not cool enough?
Check that the filters are clean, the exhaust hose is not blocked, and the set temperature is lower than the room temperature. Make sure the room is properly insulated.
How to use the remote control?
Insert two AAA batteries into the remote. Point at the unit's receiver. Use the buttons to turn on/off, set temperature, change mode (Cool, Dry, Fan, Night), and timer.
Why does water flow from the unit?
This is normal in cooling mode. Condensed moisture is drained through the exhaust hose. If water flows inside, check that the collection tray is properly placed and the unit is level.
How to switch to dehumidification mode?
Press the Mode button until the water droplet icon (Dry) appears. The fan runs at low speed and the unit extracts moisture without actively cooling.
The compressor stops and restarts frequently, is this normal?
Yes, the compressor cycles to maintain temperature. A 3-minute protection delay is built-in to prevent too frequent restarts. If cycles are very short, the filters may be dirty.
How to adjust the temperature?
Use the + or - buttons on the control panel or remote. The adjustment range is generally 16°C to 32°C. Cool mode works best with a target temperature significantly lower than room temperature.
Do you need to drain the water tank?
In cooling mode, water is continuously drained through the hose. In dehumidification mode, the internal tank may fill; a light will alert you. Then drain by removing the drain plug.
What do the error codes on the display mean?
Common codes: E1 (temperature sensor fault), E2 (evaporator sensor fault), E3 (condenser sensor fault). Turn off the unit for 10 minutes and restart. If the code persists, contact customer service.
