How to turn on the Sonim XP400?

Press and hold the power button located on the top of the device for a few seconds until the Sonim logo appears.

How to insert the SIM card and battery?

Remove the back cover by pressing the latch. Insert the SIM card into the slot provided, then place the battery aligning the contacts. Close the cover.

How to perform a factory reset?

Go to Menu > Settings > Reset > Factory reset. Confirm with default PIN code 1234 or your personal code.

Is the phone waterproof?

Yes, the Sonim XP400 is IP68 certified, meaning it is waterproof up to 1.2 meters for 30 minutes and dustproof.

How to take a photo?

Open the Camera app from the main menu. Frame your subject and press the center button or the dedicated side key to capture the image.

How to transfer files to a computer?

Connect the phone to a computer via the USB cable. On the phone, select 'Mass storage' or 'File transfer' mode from the notifications. The files will then appear on the computer.

The battery drains quickly, what to do?

Check that the phone is not in forced sleep (background apps). Reduce screen brightness and disable Bluetooth if not used. If the problem persists, replace the battery with a new one.

How to listen to FM radio?

Plug in headphones (acts as antenna). Open the FM Radio app from the menu. Start an automatic station search or manually set the frequency.

How to lock the keypad?

Briefly press the * key to lock the keypad. To unlock, press the # key then the call key.

• Do not turn on the device in areas where the use of mobile phones is prohibited or where it may cause interference or pose a danger.

• Children should not use the device and its accessories without adult supervision. - For individuals with medical implants, maintain a distance of at least 15 cm from the device. During phone calls, keep the device on the side opposite the implant. - Consult your doctor and Sonim customer service to ensure that using your Sonim device will not interfere with your medical equipment. - Turn off your device in blasting areas and wherever signs instruct you to turn off "two-way radios" or "electronic devices" to avoid interfering with blasting operations. - Power off the device in any area with a potentially explosive atmosphere and follow all displayed signs and instructions. These areas may include locations where it is advised to turn off vehicle engines. - Always adhere to device usage guidelines in hospitals and healthcare facilities and turn off the device near medical equipment. - Consult with airline staff regarding restrictions on the use of wireless devices onboard the aircraft. - Do not operate the device outside its recommended temperature range or store it outside the storage temperature range specified by Sonim.
