Frequently Asked Questions - Sterling 100T STOVES

How to install the Sterling 100T hood?
Installation requires a load-bearing wall. Drill holes for the wall plugs (not supplied), fix the wall bracket and hang the hood. Connect the air exhaust (diameter 150 mm) and plug in the 220-240 V power supply. Check the level using a spirit level.
How to clean the grease filters?
The aluminium filters are dishwasher safe or hand washable with warm soapy water. Let them dry completely before reinserting. Cleaning every 2 months is recommended.
How to replace the charcoal filter?
The charcoal filter is optional. To replace it, unclip the lower panel, remove the old filter and insert the new one (ref. FC-100). Put the panel back. Replace it every 6 to 12 months depending on usage.
What is the lifespan of the LED bulbs?
The integrated LED bulbs have a lifespan of approximately 30,000 hours. In case of failure, contact after-sales service for replacement.
Can the hood operate in recirculation mode?
Yes, the hood can be used in recirculation mode with a charcoal filter (optional). In this case, the air is filtered and returned to the room through the outlet grille on top.
How to adjust the speed?
Use the push buttons on the front panel. The + button increases the speed, the - button decreases it. A light or sound indicator confirms the change.
Why is the hood making noise?
The noise may be due to a dirty grease filter, an obstruction in the duct, or an unbalanced motor. Clean the filters and check the installation. The maximum noise level is 65 dB(A).
What to do if the hood does not turn on?
Check the power supply and circuit breaker. Make sure the socket is working. If the problem persists, contact a STOVES authorized technician.
How to order spare parts?
Spare parts (filters, bulbs, buttons) are available from STOVES after-sales service. Have your model (Sterling 100T) and serial number ready.
What is the warranty of the hood?
The Sterling 100T hood comes with a 2-year warranty (parts and labor). Keep the purchase receipt for any claims.
