This unit can be used by children aged 8 and above and by individuals with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience or knowledge, if they are given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.

Keep the equipment and its cable out of reach of children younger than 8 years of age.

The surfaces are subject to heating up during use.

To switch on the appliance, insert the plug into the socket and set the knob (4) to "ON".

INSTRUCTIONS FOR FIRST USE

Before using the device for the first time, operate it without pots for 5 minutes at the maximum temperature in a well-ventilated area to eliminate any odours and fumes due to possible residual traces from production on the internal parts of the device.

Use pots with a base of the same size as the plate.

Use flat-bottomed pots.

In order to save energy, one can switch off the hotplate a short time before completing cooking. The plate releases heat for several minutes after being switched off.

The cooker is provided with a thermostat for temperature setting.
