Press the ALARM SET button until the alarm icon flashes. Use the HOUR and MIN buttons to set the desired time. Press ALARM SET again to confirm. Ensure the alarm selector is set to either radio or buzzer.
Why is the radio not receiving stations?
Check that the antenna is fully extended. For FM, the antenna is built-in; reposition the unit for better reception. For AM, the internal ferrite bar is directional; rotate the whole unit. Also, try scanning manually or automatically.
How do I change the time?
Press and hold the TIME SET button for about 3 seconds until the hour digits flash. Press HOUR or MIN to adjust. Press TIME SET again to save.
What type of batteries does the backup use?
The clock uses 3 x AAA batteries (alkaline recommended) for memory backup. They are not included. Insert them in the compartment on the bottom of the unit.
How do I activate the snooze function?
When the alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE button (top of the unit). The alarm will stop and sound again after 9 minutes. You can snooze multiple times.

Press the DIMMER button repeatedly to cycle through brightness levels (usually high, medium, low, off). The setting is stored.
What should I do if the buttons are unresponsive?
First, try unplugging the AC adapter and removing batteries for 30 seconds to reset the unit. If that fails, check for blockage or contact customer support.
Is there a sleep timer?
Yes, press the SLEEP button repeatedly to set 15, 30, 60, or 90 minutes. The radio will turn off automatically after the selected time.

Note: Please do not move the alarm clock during the reception process.

The alarm clock synchronizes the internal clock every day from 01:00 to 04:00 on each full hour. If reception is unsuccessful, the clock will reattempt reception at 05:00 and 06:00. Please set the time manually if reception fails (see "Basic settings").

tower 🚗 will disappear from the display. Press for 2 seconds

▼ / RCC OFF 18 again. The radio waves will disappear from the display. The clock will now no longer receive the radio signal. Set the time manually as described in basic settings.

Reception problems

The DCF77 radio signal is transmitted from a location near Frankfurt am Main and can be received within a radius of approximately 1500 km around Frankfurt am Main. However, there are some obstacles and sources of interference, which may substantially hinder reception. If your alarm clock does not correctly receive the DCF77 radio signal, please hang or place the alarm clock a different location at your site. Please note that devices such as computers, telephones, radios and televisions may cause electromagnetic radiation which can interfere with the DCF77 signal reception. Other possible detriments to reception are: strong building insulation (metal building materials), nearby mountains or atmospheric interference. It may also be necessary to replace the batteries.
