How do I install the exhaust hose?
Remove the window kit adapter and attach the hose to the unit. Extend the hose to the window and secure the adapter in the window opening. Ensure the hose is as short and straight as possible for maximum efficiency.
How often should I clean the filter?
Clean the washable filter every two weeks under normal usage. Remove the filter from the rear of the unit, wash with lukewarm water and mild detergent, dry completely before reinstalling.
Can I use the air conditioner without the exhaust hose?
No, the unit must be vented to the outside to expel hot air. Using it without the hose will overheat and damage the compressor.
What does the 'dry' mode do?
Dry mode reduces humidity in the room without significant cooling. The fan runs at low speed and the compressor cycles on and off to dehumidify the air.
Why is water leaking from the unit?
In high humidity, the internal tank may fill. If the self-evaporation system cannot keep up, attach the included drain hose to the continuous drain outlet and direct to a floor drain.
How do I set the timer?
Press the Timer button on the remote or control panel. Use +/- to set the desired on/off time (0-24 hours). Confirm with the timer button again.
