Safety lock

For your own protection the model SB800W has built-in safety lock system. It prevents the run of the appliance until the food processor is not assembled correctly.

When you choose your accessory (for example, blender), you must place it properly on the motor unit. You can use only one accessory at the same time. The chosen accessory is placed correctly when the signs on the motor unit and on each accessory are in the same way. Then you must turn selected accessory clockwise and you will hear a "click".

When finished the working, you must turn the chosen accessory anti-clockwise.

Control panel

- After properly placing the selected accessory on the motor unit, turn the operation knob to activate the unit from its off position. Choose the requested speed.

CHOPPER

CAUTION: Make sure that the unit is unplugged from the power source and the operation button is on "OFF" before inserting or removing any attachments and before cleaning.

WARNING: Use extreme caution, blades are sharp.

- IMPORTANT: The chopper bowl will not operate if the security cover is not closed correctly and if it is not placed properly on the motor unit.

WARNING: To reduce risk of injury, never place the chopping blade on the motor unit without first putting the bowl properly in place.

  • Place the motor shaft firstly on the motor unit. After this, place the bowl for chopper correctly on the motor unit. The signs on the motor unit and on the chosen accessory must be in the same way. Then you must turn the selected accessory clockwise and you will hear a "click".
  • Place the chopping blade on the shaft inside the bowl.
  • Make sure that the chopping blade is correctly positioned in its place.
  • When the chopping blade is placed, put the chosen ingredients in the bowl. Then place the lid of the chopper correctly and turn on the appliance.

WARNING: Use extreme caution – Blades are sharp, handle carefully. Always hold the chopping blade by the upper plastic part. After using the chopping blade, always take it out of the bowl before removing the processed food.

  • Keep hands and utensils away from the cutting blade while chopping food, to reduce the risk of severe injury to persons or damage to the food chopper. A spatula may be used, but must be used only when the food processor is not running.
  • Never feed food by hand. Always use food pusher.
  • Do not leave the appliance unsupervised when it is operating i.e. when it is "ON".

Continuous Slicer / Shredder

CAUTION: Make sure that the unit is unplugged from the power source and the operating button is on "OFF" before inserting or removing attachments.

  • If using the blades (discs) instead of the chopper, the procedure for preparing the appliance is the same as for the chopper accessory. Just instead of the chopping blade, you should use your chosen disc. The selection of the disc depends on your wishes regarding food preparation.
  • WARNING: Use extreme caution – blades are sharp. Handle carefully.
