How do I charge the DTS601 toothbrush?

Place the toothbrush handle on the inductive charging base. Plug the base into a standard power outlet. The indicator light will blink while charging. A full charge takes about 12 hours.

How long does the battery last on a full charge?

With twice-daily brushing of 2 minutes each, the battery lasts up to 14 days. Actual battery life may vary depending on usage and mode.

How do I change the brush head?

Pull the old brush head straight off the handle. Align the new head and push it down until it snaps into place. Replace the brush head every 3 months for optimal cleaning.

Is the DTS601 waterproof?

Yes, the handle is IPX7 rated, meaning it can be submerged in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. You can safely rinse it under a tap or use it in the shower.

How do I clean the toothbrush?

After each use, rinse the brush head and handle under running water. Wipe the handle dry with a cloth. For deeper cleaning, remove the brush head and wipe the shaft with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

What cleaning modes are available?

The DTS601 has three modes: Clean for everyday brushing, Sensitive for gentle cleaning on sensitive teeth and gums, and Massage to stimulate gums.

Does it have a timer?

Yes, the toothbrush has a 2-minute timer with 30-second intervals. It will pause briefly every 30 seconds to remind you to switch the quadrant of your mouth. After 2 minutes, it will shut off automatically.

Can I use any brush head with this toothbrush?

For best results, use Blaupunkt replacement brush heads designed for the DTS601. Other snap-on heads from compatible brands may work, but performance and fit are not guaranteed.

What should I do if the toothbrush stops working?

First, ensure it is charged. Check the charging base connection. If it still does not work, try resetting by pressing the power button for 10 seconds. If the issue persists, contact Blaupunkt customer service.

Is the toothbrush suitable for children?

The DTS601 is designed for adults. Children under 12 should use it under adult supervision. The sensitive mode may be more suitable for younger users.

CHARGING THE BATTERY

Make sure that the toothbrush is switched off before placing it on the charging unit.

Connect the charging unit (5) to the power supply. Place the toothbrush handle with drive on the charging unit. The full charging process can last more than 24 hours. It is recommended to store the toothbrush handle in the charging unit. The battery contains a protecting circuit against overcharging. When the battery is charging the toothbrush, the battery-charging indicator will turn red. When the battery is fully charged, the battery charge indicator turns off.

1. Use the replaceable toothbrush head (1) on the handle with a drive (4). Wet the toothbrush with water and apply a small amount of toothpaste.
2. Put the toothbrush in your mouth, on the teeth gently tilted toward the gums (as shown in the Figure)
3. Turn on your toothbrush with the switch button (2). You can change the brushing mode by pressing the switch button immediately after switching on the toothbrush.
4. To improve the efficiency of teeth cleaning, the mouth should be divided into four zones. Clean each zone for 30 seconds (the toothbrush signals with a momentary break when each 30 seconds expires). The toothbrush will switch off automatically after 2 minutes. To finish teeth cleaning earlier, turn off the toothbrush with the switch button
5. After switching the toothbrush off, remove the head (1) from the handle (4) and thoroughly rinse both elements.
6. Put the handle (4) onto the charging unit (5).

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Make sure that the charging unit is removed from the power supply before starting cleaning. Wipe the inside of the charging unit with a wet cloth and then dry.
