Frequently Asked Questions - GE-SP 750 LL EINHELL

How do I prime the pump before use?
Ensure the pump is fully submerged in water. The pump is self-priming up to 7 m depth. For initial use, submerge completely and allow air to escape from the outlet hose.
Can the pump run dry?
No, running dry can damage the pump. Always ensure the pump is submerged in water. The integrated float switch helps prevent dry running by cutting power when water level drops.
What is the maximum particle size the pump can handle?
The pump can handle particles up to 5 mm in diameter. For larger debris, use a pre-filter or avoid pumping dirty water.
How do I clean the pump after use?
Disconnect from power, remove from water, and rinse with clean water. Clean the filter and impeller area from debris. Store in a dry place.
Why does the pump not start?
Check if power is applied, if the float switch is free to move, and if the pump is submerged. If thermal protection has tripped, allow cooling for 15 minutes.
What is the maximum operating temperature of the liquid?
The maximum water temperature should not exceed 35°C to prevent damage to the pump.
Can I use an extension cord?
Yes, but ensure the extension cord has a cross-section of at least 1.5 mm² and is suitable for outdoor use. Keep the connection dry.
How does the float switch work?
The float switch automatically turns the pump on when the water level rises and off when it drops. Adjust the float cable length to set the desired on/off levels.
What maintenance is required?
Regularly check the power cable for damage, clean the pump and filter after use, and lubricate the shaft seal annually if recommended.
Where do I find spare parts?
Spare parts such as the float switch, impeller, and seals are available from Einhell service centers or authorized dealers. Refer to the manual for part numbers.

3. Proper use

The equipment you have purchased is designed to pump water with a maximum temperature of 35 °C. This equipment must never be used for other liquids, especially engine fuels, cleaning agents and other chemically-based products! Installed in a shaft, the equipment provides protection from flooding. However, it can be used wherever you want to move water, e.g. in the house, in the garden, and for many other applications. The equipment must not be used to operate swimming pools!

If you want to use the equipment in bodies of water with a natural, muddy bottom, place the equipment in a slightly elevated position, e.g. on bricks.

The equipment is not designed for continuous operation, e.g. as a circulating pump in a pond. In this case the equipment's anticipated life will be greatly shortened because the equipment was not designed for continuous loading.

The equipment is to be used only for its prescribed purpose. Any other use is deemed to be a case of misuse. The user / operator and not the manufacturer will be liable for any damage or injuries of any kind caused as a result of this.

Please note that our equipment has not been designed for use in commercial, trade or industrial applications. Our warranty will be voided if the
