USER MANUAL BT15 Clock BLAUPUNKT
To achieve the utmost in enjoyment and performance, and in order to become familiar with its features, please read this manual carefully before attempting to operate this product. This will assure you years of trouble-free performance and listening pleasure.
- This safety and operating instruction should be retained for future reference. • The apparatus should not be exposed to dripping or splashing or placed in a humid atmosphere such as a bathroom.
- Do not install the product in the following areas:
- Places exposed to direct sunlight or close to radiators. ○ On top of other stereo equipment that radiate too much heat. ○ Blocking ventilation or in a dusty area.
- Areas where there is constant vibration. ○ Humid or moist places. • Do not place near candles or other naked flames. • Operate the product only as instructed in this manual.
- Before turning on the power for the first time, make sure the power adaptor is properly connected.
- Plug-in the USB stick directly or use an USB-extension cable which is not longer than 25 cm.
For safety reasons, do not remove any covers or attempt to gain access to the inside of the product. Refer any servicing to qualified personnel.
Do not attempt to remove any screws, or open the casing of the unit; there are no user serviceable parts inside. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.

- Place your clock radio on a stable surface, away from sources of direct sunlight or excessive heat or moisture.
- Protect your furniture when placing your units on a natural wood and lacquered finish by using a cloth or protective material between it and the furniture.
- Clean your unit with a soft cloth moistened only with mild soap and water. Stronger agents such as Benzine, thinner or similar materials can damage the surface of the unit. Make sure the unit is unplugged before cleaning.

1). The batteries must not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like. 2). The batteries should be drawn to the environmental aspects of battery disposal.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- The apparatus must not be exposed to dripping or splashing and that objects filled with liquids, such as vases, must not be placed on the apparatus.
- To prevent fire or shock hazard, do not expose this equipment to hot places, rain, moisture or dust.
- Do not locate this unit near any water sources e.g. taps, bathtubs, washing machines or swimming pools. Ensure that you place the unit on a dry, stable surface.
- Do not place this unit close to a strong magnetic field.
- Do not place the unit on a amplifier or receiver.
- Do not place this unit in a damp area as the moisture will affect the life of electric components.
- If the clock is brought directly from a cold to a warm location, or is placed in a very damp room, moisture may condense on the lens inside the player. If this occurs, the system will not operate properly. Please leave the system turned on for about an hour until the moisture evaporates.
- Do not attempt to clean the unit with chemical solvents as this might damage the finish. Wipe with a clean, dry or slightly damp cloth.

1. M: Power on/off and play source button
Press and hold 3 seconds to power on or off the unit.
Short press it to switch the play source between Bluetooth/FM/MicroSD/AUX in.
2. —: Volume down and previous button
Press and hold it to decrease the volume.
In Bluetooth and microSD card playback mode, short press to select last track.
In FM radio mode, short press it to pick up the last preset radio station.
In time/alarm setting mode, short press it to adjust time; press and hold to select the setting in high speed.
3. ▶ : Play/ pause button
In Bluetooth playback mode, short press it to play or pause the music. When a phone call is incoming, short press it to pick up the phone; press it again to end the call and resume the music playback.
In FM radio, press and hold 3 seconds to auto scan and preset the available station. Short press it to mute the sound output.
In microSD card playback mode, short press it to play or pause the music.
4. +: Volume up and next button
Press and hold it to increase the volume.
In Bluetooth and microSD card playback mode, short press to select next track.
In FM radio mode, short press it to pick up the next preset radio station.
In time/alarm setting mode, short press it to adjust time; press and hold to select the setting in high speed.
5. * : Bluetooth button
Short press it to enter Bluetooth playback.
Press and hold 3 seconds to turn on or off the alarm.
6. ☑ : Time and alarm button
Short press it to enter clock time interface, press it again to check the alarm time.
In clock or alarm time interface, press and hold 3 seconds to start the time and alarm setting.
7. LED indication icon.
: Power on/off and charging indicator.
TF : The icon will light up in TF/MicroSD card playback mode.
FM: The icon will light up in FM radio mode.
AUX: The icon will light up in AUX playback mode.
*: The icon will light up in Bluetooth mode.
: The icon will light up when the alarm is working and on.
Battery charging
This unit has a built-in rechargeable lithium battery. Before starting playback, please follow the steps below for charging.
- Using the supplied USB to micro USB charging cable, connect the speaker to your USB charger (USB adaptor or USB output port like on a PC, USB rating output: 5V/1A, or other USB charger with current equal to or above 1A). The micro USB connector should connect to the DC 5V power jack on the rear panel of the speaker, and the other terminal should connect to the USB charger. Then plug your USB charger into household AC power.
- The battery icon will light up and flash during charging, and the icon will become stable when the battery is fully charged.
Important: We recommend connecting a USB charger with a rated output of DC 5V/1A, or a USB power source with an output current equal to or above 1A. The general USB output on a PC (personal computer) is 5V/1A (please reference your PC specifications for checking). There may be some charging noise or abnormal function from the speaker if the charging current is too low. If this happens, please remove the charging power and let the speaker sit for a while; then the speaker will reset to normal function. Please note that this is not a malfunction.
Notes:
Your battery will last longer if you follow these simple guidelines for charging and storing.
a. For the first charge, charge it for at least 10 hours. b. Recharge and store the unit within the temperature range of 5°C to 35°C (40°F to 95°F). c. Do not charge for longer than 24 hours. Excessive charging or discharging may shorten the battery's life.
d. Battery life naturally shortens slowly over time.
e. Please turn off the speaker if it will not be used for a long time.
f. The speaker can play music while charging.
g. Prolonged charging and discharging will affect the battery life and shorten playback time. We cannot guarantee consistent playback throughout, and this is not covered by our warranty or service.
Power On/Off
Press and hold the "M" button for 3 seconds to power the speaker on or off. Short press the button to switch between Bluetooth, radio, microSD card, and AUX IN modes.
Clock Time and Alarm
The speaker has a 24-hour clock and one alarm, which can wake you up in the morning.
- Clock time setting: Power on the speaker or short press the button until the time interface is displayed. Press and hold the button until the hour digits flash on the display. Press the "+" and "-" buttons to adjust the hour. Press the button again to confirm the hour, and the minute digits will flash. Press the "+" and "-" buttons to adjust the minutes, then press the button to confirm and finish the clock time setting.
- Alarm time setting: After finishing the clock time setting, short press the button to switch to the alarm time interface. Press and hold the button until the hour digits flash. Press the "+" and "-" buttons to adjust the hour. Press the button again to confirm the hour, and the minute digits will flash. Press the "+" and "-" buttons to adjust the minutes, then press the button to confirm and finish the alarm time setting. Press the button again to switch back to the clock time interface.
- Alarm on/off: After finishing the alarm time setting, press and hold the button until "A-on" appears on the display to turn on the alarm. The alarm icon will light up, indicating the alarm is active, and it will ring at the set time. To turn off the alarm, press and hold the button until "A-OF" appears on the display.
- Alarm sound cancel: When the alarm time is reached, the alarm will ring. Press the button to cancel the sound, and it will ring again at the same time the next day.
Notes:
a. The alarm sound will last for 1 minute and then automatically turn off if you do not press the button to cancel it. b. Only the bell sound is available as the alarm source. c. Please make sure the speaker is connected to USB power or has battery power. The alarm will not work if the battery is off or too low. d. If you set the alarm and then power off the speaker, the alarm will still wake you up at the set time.
Bluetooth Operation
The speaker has Bluetooth functionality, allowing you to wirelessly play audio from other Bluetooth devices such as smartphones. Please follow the steps below for operation.
- Power on the unit and short press the "M" button until "BLUE" appears on the display; meanwhile, the LED will flash on the top panel, indicating that the speaker is ready for pairing.
- Enable the Bluetooth function on your Bluetooth device and search for available Bluetooth devices (please refer to your device manual for operation).
- Check the available Bluetooth devices on the menu list of your device and select "BP BT15" to start pairing. If a password is required during pairing, please enter "0000" (four zeros). The LED will become stable when pairing is successful.
- Select and play music on your Bluetooth device. The sound will then be output from the speaker.
- During Bluetooth playback, you can short press the button to play or pause the music; short press the + or - button to select the next or previous track; press and hold the + or - button to increase or decrease the volume.
- Phone call hands-free: When the cell phone is paired with the speaker in Bluetooth mode and an incoming call arrives, short press the button to pick up the call. Answer the phone by speaking close to the front of the speaker within 30 cm (suggested) because the microphone is built into the rear side of the speaker grill. Short press the button again to end the phone call and resume music playback.
Notes:
a. Not all Bluetooth devices are guaranteed to pair successfully due to different designs and brands.
b. Please do not place your cell phone very close to the speaker during hands-free phone calls to avoid interference that may affect conversation sound quality.
c. The Bluetooth best working distance is within 10 meters without any obstacle in between.
FM radio operation
Before listening to the radio, please try to move the unit next to the window as you can, and insert the supplied 3.5mm to 3.5mm stereo audio cable into the AUX IN jack as an external antenna in order to get better reception.
- Power on the unit, and short press the "M" button repeatedly till "RdO" shows on display.
- Press and hold the button to auto scan and save the available FM station (max supported 50 preset stations); short press the + or - to select the next or last preset station; press and hold the + or - button to increase or decrease the volume; short press the button can mute or resume the FM radio sound.
TF/MicroSD card playback
Please copy the MP3 format music into the TF or MicroSD card device (max supported 128GB) before starting the playing, and then insert the card into the slot on the rear panel of the unit. Please kindly note that the TF/MicroSD card playback mode is only available when there is a card device installed on the speaker successfully.
Power on the unit, and short press "M" till "CARD" shows on display; the speaker will read out the card device automatically, and get the music output after a few seconds.
In TF/MicroSD card playback mode, short press the + or – button can select next or last track; press and hold the + or – button can increase or decrease the volume; short press the button to play or pause the music.
Notes:
a. The supported audio format is MP3/WMA/WAV/FLAC (24bit/192kHz)/SDHC/SDXC in TF/MicroSD playback mode. b. Not all TF/MicroSD card devices are supported due to different design and brand, the max supported storage is 128GB. c. Please kindly insert the TF or MicroSD card into the slot properly.
AUX IN/ MP3 link mode
Using the supplied 3.5mm to 3.5mm stereo audio cable, connect the AUX jack on the speaker rear panel with the line out or headphone jack on any other external audio player like mp3 player etc. Power on the speaker and short press the "M" button till the "AUX" shows on display. Select and play the music from your external audio player, then the sound will output from the speaker.
Notes:
a. In AUX IN mode, the main control is on your external audio player side. But you can still increase or decrease the volume, and mute the sound on the speaker part. b. In Bluetooth mode, the speaker will switch to AUX in mode automatically when you plug in the audio cable. c. Please kindly note the AUX in mode is only available when the audio cable was plugged in.

Troubleshooting
- The unit cannot power on.
a. Please charge the unit and try again. b. Please contact the service center in case the issue remains.
- There is no or intermittent sound output in Bluetooth mode.
a. Please turn off the Bluetooth, and repair with the speaker. b. Please put your Bluetooth device closer to the speaker.
- No available FM station or background noise in FM.
a. Please plug in the 3.5mm stereo audio cable and re-scan the available FM station.
b. Please tune to another FM station for listening.
c. Please try to move the unit next to the window in order to get better reception.
- The speaker cannot read out the music in TF or microSD card.
a. Please check if you insert the TF or microSD card into the slot properly.
b. Please check if the audio format is in MP3/WMA/WAV/FLAC.
