This product with ecodesign complies with the stage 2 requirements of Commission Regulation (EC) No. 1275/2008 implementing Directive 2009/125/EC regarding standby and off mode electric power consumption of electronic household and office equipment. After 10 minutes without any audio input, the device will automatically switch into

standby mode. Follow the instruction manual to resume operation.

Important note:

This device is equipped with an energy saving mode: if no signal is given during 10 minutes, the device will automatically switch into standby mode in order to save energy (ERP 2 standard). Please note that low volume setting in the audio source may be recognized as "no audio signal": this will affect the capability of signal detection from the device and can also originate an automatic switch into standby mode. If this happens, please reactivate the audio signal transmission or increase the volume setting on the audio source player (MP3 player, etc.) in order to resume playback. Please contact the local service center if the problem remains.

Battery charging

This unit has a built-in rechargeable lithium battery inside. Before starting playback, please follow the steps below for charging.

1. Using the supplied USB to microUSB charging cable, connect the speaker to your USB charger (USB adaptor or USB output port

like on a PC, USB rating output: 5V/1A, or other USB charger with current equal to or above 1A). The microUSB connector should connect to the

DC 5V power jack on the rear panel of the speaker, and the other terminal should connect to the USB charger. Then plug your USB charger into the

household AC power.

1. The charging LED will light up in red during charging, and the red LED will turn off when the battery is fully charged.
2. The speaker will turn off automatically when the battery power is exhausted. Please arrange for recharging before playing.

Important: We recommend connecting a USB charger with a rated output of DC 5V/1A, or equal to or above

1A output current USB power. The general USB output on a PC (personal computer) is 5V/1A (please refer to your PC's specifications for checking). There may be some charging noise or abnormal function from the speaker if the charging current is too low. If this happens, please remove the charging power and let the speaker sit for a while; then the speaker will reset to normal function. Please note that this is not a malfunction.

Notes:

Your battery lifetime will last longer if you follow the simple guidelines below for charging and storing.

a. For the first charge, charge it for at least 10 hours. b. Recharge and store the unit within the temperature range of 5°C to 35°C (40°F to 95°F). c. Do not charge for longer than 24 hours. Excessive charging or discharging may shorten the battery's life.

d. Battery life naturally shortens slowly over time.

e. Please turn off the speaker if it will not be used for a long time.

f. The speaker can play music while charging.

g. Due to prolonged charging and discharging, the unit's battery life will be affected and playback time will also be shortened. We cannot guarantee...

Bluetooth operation

The speaker includes a Bluetooth function that allows you to wirelessly play audio from other Bluetooth devices such as smartphones. Please follow the steps below for operation.

1. Short press the power button to power on the unit. The blue LED will flash, indicating that the speaker is ready to pair with other devices.
2. Enable the Bluetooth function on your Bluetooth device and search for available Bluetooth devices (please refer to your device's manual for operation).
3. Check the available Bluetooth devices on the menu list of your device and select "BP BT04" to start pairing. If a password is required during pairing, enter "0000" (four zeros). The blue LED will become steady when pairing is successful.
4. Select and play music on your Bluetooth device. The sound will then be output from the speaker.
5. During Bluetooth playback, you can short press the play/pause button to play or pause the music; short press the volume +/- button to select the last or next track; press and hold the volume +/- button to decrease or increase the volume. Press and hold the play/pause button to disconnect the current Bluetooth connection and search for other available Bluetooth devices.

Phone call hands-free: When the cell phone is paired with the speaker in Bluetooth mode and an incoming call arrives, short press the phone call pickup button to answer the call. Talk aiming at the microphone hole within 30 cm (suggested distance) for better conversation sound quality. Short press the phone call pickup button again to end the call and resume music playback.

Notes:

a. All Bluetooth devices are not guaranteed to pair successfully due to different design and brand. b. Please do not put your cell phone very close to the speaker during phone call hands free conversation, in order to avoid interference which will impact the conversation sound quality. c. The Bluetooth best working distance is within 10 meters without any obstacle in between. d. The speaker can broadcast the incoming phone call number smartly in Bluetooth mode. e. In case the speaker does not pair with other device successfully and no further operation, the speaker auto off after about 10 minutes, please power on the unit again for operation.

FM radio operation

Before listen to the radio, please try to move the unit next to the window as you can, and insert the supplied 3.5mm to 3.5mm stereo audio cable into the AUX IN jack as an external antenna in order to get better reception.

1. Power on the unit, short press power button to switch and enter FM radio mode.
2. Short press the play/pause button to auto scan and save the available FM station (max support up to 50 preset station); short press the volume +/- button to select the last or next preset station; press and hold the volume +/- button to decrease or increase the volume.

TF/MicroSD card playback

Please copy the MP3 format music into the TF or MicroSD card device (max supported 32GB) before start the playing, and then insert the card into the slot on the rear panel of unit. Power on the unit, short press power button to switch and enter the MicroSD playback mode; the speaker will read out the card device automatically, and get the music output after few seconds.

In TF/MicroSD card playback mode, short press the volume+/- button to select the last or next track; press and hold the volume +/- button to decrease or increase the volume. Short press the play/pause button to play or pause the music.

Notes:

a. The TF/MicroSD card playback mode is only available when there have card device installed on the speaker successfully. b. The supported audio format is MP3/WAV in TF/MicroSD playback mode, but not guarantee all mentioned audio file. c. Not all TF/MicroSD card devices are supported due to different design and brand, the max supported storage is 64GB. d. Please kindly insert the TF or MicroSD card into the slot properly.

AUX IN/ MP3 link mode

Using the supplied 3.5mm to 3.5mm stereo audio cable connect the AUX jack on the speaker rear panel with the line out or headphone jack on any other external audio player like mp3 player etc. Power on the speaker, short press power button to switch and enter the AUX IN playback mode; select and play the music from your external audio player, then the sound will output from the speaker.

Notes:

a. In AUX IN mode, the main control is on your external audio player side. But you can still increase or decrease the volume on the speaker side. b. Please note that AUX IN mode is only available when the audio cable is plugged in. The unit will switch to AUX IN mode automatically when you connect it with an audio cable.

Troubleshooting

1. The unit cannot power on.
