Please read the following instructions and keep them on hand for later reference.

  1. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.   9. For security reasons never use the appliance close to or in a bathtub or washbasin or any other receptacle filled with water.
  10. Make sure that the lead cable does not touch hot parts of the appliance.
  11. Unroll the lead cable completely to avoid damage caused by overheating.
  12. Always disconnect the lead cable from the wall socket pulling on the plug, never on the cable.

  16. During operation keep sufficient distance to the walls and flammable objects like e.g. curtains.
  17. Do not operate the appliance near any heat source.
  18. Make sure that the air intake screen of the appliance is always uncovered. Clean the air intake screen regularly.
  19. Never cover the air intake screen with your hand or any other objects.
  20. For safety reasons do not use the appliance to style artificial hair.
  21. Keep the appliance away from ears and face to avoid burns.

  22. Do not use any hair spray while the appliance is still working.

  23. The curling brush is very hot after use. Handle with care to avoid burns.
  24. Disconnect the appliance before depositing.
  25. The appliance features overheat protection. To avoid damage, the appliance automatically switches of when operated too long. After an adequate cool-off time, the appliance may be operated again.
  26. After use and before cleaning always switch the appliance off, disconnect the plug from the wall socket and let it cool off.
  27. As long as the appliance is connected to the main power supply, it constitutes a potential danger near water.
  28. Do not stick any objects into the appliance, as possible damage may cause electric shock.
  29. Use the appliance only for the intended purposes indicated in this manual.
  30. Do not use the appliance with accessories of other manufacturers or brands, to prevent damage.
  31. Never open the casing of the appliance to prevent electric shock.
  32. Check the plug and lead cable regularly for wear and tear. In case the lead cable or other parts present damage, please send the appliance to our after-sales service for inspection and repair. Unauthorised repairs can constitute serious risks for the user and void the warranty. If the lead cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its after-sales service or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid any hazard.

VOLTAGE COMMUTATION

Before connecting the appliance please check if the voltage selector is adjusted to the right voltage (220–240/115 V\~). To change the selection a coin may be used.

BEFORE FIRST USE

  1. Remove all packaging materials and any transport safety devices. Keep packaging material out of reach of children. Danger of suffocation!
  2. After washing your hair, dry it thoroughly with a towel.
  3. Brush your hair until it falls loosely.

OPERATION

  1. Prepare your hair as described in the chapter „Before first use“.
  2. Attach the curling brush firmly to the appliance until it latches into place.
  3. Connect the plug to a wall socket.
  4. Separate the combed hair into strands no more than 5 cm wide. If necessary, separate the strands using hair clips.
  5. Wrap the hair strands around the curling brush from the end to the hairline. In order not to entangle the hair it should not be wrapped around the brush more than twice.
  6. Switch the appliance on using the EIN/AUS (ON/OFF) switch and select the desired temperature. The following settings may be selected:
0 = off
C = cool air setting to fix styling
1 = soft warm air stream for easy styling
2 = strong air stream for fast styling and drying 
  1. Leave the strand wrapped up until it feels warm.

  2. The strand achieves more hold if you fix the styling using the cool shot.

  3. Press the unroll button to easily unwrap the strand.

  4. Unwrap the strand carefully to separate it from the appliance as the brush now moves freely.

  5. Repeat steps 5 to 10 to style the remaining strands.

  6. Always switch the appliance off using the EIN/AUS (ON/OFF) switch before disconnecting the plug from the wall socket.

  7. Before styling your hair with a comb, a brush or your fingers, let it cool for a while.

  8. Please remember that the curling brush is very hot after use. Danger of burns!

  1. Clean the appliance with a damp cloth.

  2. Do not use any scrubbing sponges, abrasive agents, steel wool, metal objects, disinfectants or hot cleaning agents, since they can damage the appliance.

  3. Protect the appliance from dust and clean the air inlets with a soft brush, if necessary.
  4. Clean the curling brush with a damp cloth, if necessary.
  5. Let the curling brush dry completely before using it again or storing it.

GUARANTEE CONDITIONS

We guarantee our appliances for 24 months, or in case of commercial use for 12 months, from the date of purchase in case of defects that occur during normal use and are demonstrably due to a factory fault. Within the warranty period we will remedy defective materials or workmanship through repair or replacement, at our option. Our warranty terms apply only to appliances sold in Germany and Austria. For other countries, please contact the responsible importer. In the event of a claim for remedy of defects, please send the appliance to our after sales service, properly packaged and postage paid, together with a copy of the automatically generated sales receipt, which must show the date of purchase, and a description of the defect. If the defect is covered by the warranty, the customer will be reimbursed for the shipping costs only in Germany and Austria. The warranty does not cover damage from normal wear, improper handling and failure to comply with the maintenance and care instructions. The warranty is void if repairs or modifications are made to the appliance by third parties. Any claims of the end consumer vis-à-vis the retailer are not limited by this warranty.
