SAFETY WARNINGS
- After having removed the appliance from its packaging, verify its integrity based on the drawing and any presence of damage

caused by transport. If in doubt, do not use the appliance and contact an authorised service centre.
- Do not let children play with the packaging! Keep the plastic bag out of the reach of children - risk of suffocation!
- Before connecting the appliance, please make sure that the voltage data indicated on the identification technical data correspond to those of the mains voltage. The identification technical data are found on the appliance (5) and on the power supply (if present).
- This appliance must be used only for the purpose for which it was designed, namely as an air styler for home use. Any other use is considered not compliant and therefore dangerous.
- When the appliance is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the appliance is switched off.
- For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA (ideal 10 mA) is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.

ATTENTION: do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water.
Never place the appliance in water.

- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

DO NOT use the appliance with wet hands, damp feet or barefoot.

DO NOT pull the power cable or the appliance itself to remove the plug from the socket.

DO NOT expose the appliance to humidity or weather conditions (rain, sun, etc.).
- Always disconnect the appliance from the mains supply before cleaning or performing maintenance and when the appliance is not in use.
- If the appliance is faulty or malfunctions, switch it off and do not tamper with it. Any repairs must only be carried out by an authorised technical service centre.
- If the power cable is damaged it must be replaced by an authorised technical service centre, so as to prevent all risks.

DO NOT obstruct the intake filter and always keep it free from dust and hair.

USE OF ACCESSORIES
You can quickly and easily create your look, suitable for any occasion, with the new Imetec air styler. The versatility of the product will allow you to test your creativity every day.
USEFUL TIPS
- The experience gained in a short time by using your air styler will help define the usage times of the appliance according to your hair type in order to obtain the desired result.
- Before using the air styler, always make sure your hair is clean and without any trace of hairspray, hair mousse or gel.
- Always start styling from the nape of the neck, proceed on the sides and finish on the forehead.
- During use, while it is heating or cooling, always place it on a smooth and heat resistant surface.
- While styling, take care not to move the air styler too close to sensitive areas such as the face, ears, neck and skin.
- After using the air styler, let it cool completely before storing it in its box.

APPLICATION
PREPARING THE HAIR
- Wash the hair as usual and comb it while removing any knots.
- Dry the hair, leaving it slightly damp.
OPERATION
This styler works with air, which means it works according to the same principle as a common hair dryer: hot air is generated from the main body and passes through the holes in the accessories.
During heating or cooling, always place the hair dryer brush on a smooth and flat heat resistant surface. Select the desired accessory and insert it in the body of the appliance, securing it well.
When you hear that the accessory has coupled properly, you can connect the air styler to the mains.
At this point, select the desired speed and heat settings.
The manual unwinding button (1) can be selected to help you remove the lock of hair from the product once it has been set.
ACCESSORIES
Round heating brush (7)
Use this accessory to create soft waves and curls.
- Take a thin lock of hair between your fingers, the same width as the brush.
- Wrap the lock of hair around the brush no more than twice.
- Switch the air styler ON to maximum.
- Wait for the lock to dry as desired before releasing it from the brush.
Brush with retractable bristles (6)
Use this accessory for more defined and styled hair.
- Take a thin lock of hair between your fingers, the same width as the brush.
- Wrap the lock of hair around the brush no more than twice.
- Switch the hair dryer brush ON to the maximum temperature.
- Wait for the lock to dry as desired before releasing it from the brush.
- To facilitate releasing the lock of hair from the brush, rotate button (6a) to the right.

USE
Refer to the illustrative guide of the instructions for use.
Button (2) sets the air flow and temperature at the following levels:
0 = OFF
1 = medium air flow and temperature
2 = strong air flow and high temperature
STORAGE
When the air styler is not used, unplug the appliance from the socket and store it in a dry and dust-free place.
Do not wind the power cord around the appliance. Coil it up loosely without bending it.
MAINTENANCE

ATTENTION! Switch the appliance off and unplug it from the socket before cleaning! Make sure all parts cleaned with a damp cloth are completely dry before reusing the appliance!
Cleaning the appliance and accessories
Clean the appliance and the accessories with a damp cloth, when necessary. Do not use solvents or other aggressive or abrasive detergents. Otherwise, the surface could be damaged. Check the intake opening of the appliance regularly and remove all hair and dust.
Note: the more dust is present in the place where the hair dryer is used, the more often the filter duct must be cleaned.

DISPOSAL

The product is packaged in recyclable materials. Dispose of it in compliance with the environmental protection standards.
The appliance must be disposed of in compliance with the provisions of EU standard 2002/96/EC at the end of its life cycle.

This regards recycling useful substances in the appliance, which reduces environmental impact. For further information contact the local waste authority or the appliance retailer.
