Frequently Asked Questions - 10398 Mebus

How to install the Mebus 10398 weather station?
Insert the batteries (3x AA) into the station and (2x AA) into the outdoor sensor. Place the sensor outdoors, sheltered from direct weather. The station automatically searches for the signal. Refer to the manual for more details.
Why does the station not display the outdoor temperature?
Check the outdoor sensor batteries. Ensure the sensor is within 100 m of the station without major obstacles. Reset the connection by removing and reinserting the batteries.
How to set the time and date?
Press and hold the SET button until the display flashes. Use the arrows to set the year, month, day, hour, and minutes. Confirm each setting with SET.
The station shows weather forecasts, how to interpret them?
The symbols (sun, cloud, rain, snow) are based on barometric pressure. A rapid pressure change indicates deterioration or improvement. The accuracy is indicative and does not replace official bulletins.
What is the maximum range between the station and the outdoor sensor?
The stated range is 100 meters in open field. Thick walls, metal, or interference can reduce this distance. Keep the sensor away from sources of interference.
How to clean the weather station?
Use a soft, slightly damp cloth. Never use abrasive products, alcohol, or solvents. Do not immerse the station in water.
What to do if the display is dim or flashing?
This generally indicates low batteries. Replace the batteries in the station and/or outdoor sensor. Use new, high-quality alkaline batteries.
Can I add a second outdoor sensor?
This model is designed for a single outdoor sensor. For additional sensors, check compatibility or consider a multi-point model.
How to switch between °C and °F?
Press the °C/°F button on the back of the station or in the settings menu. The switch is instantaneous.
