AVVERTENZE IMPORTANTI
LEGGERE QUESTE ISTRUZIONI PRIMA DELL'USO.
The following precautionary measures should be adopted when using electrical appliances:
1 Ensure that the electrical voltage of the appliance corresponds with that of your electric network.
2 Never leave the appliance unattended when it is connected with the electric network; unplug after use.
3 This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
4 Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
5 Always place the appliance on a flat, level surface during use.
6 Never leave the appliance exposed to the elements (rain, sun, etc....).
7 Do not place the appliance over or near a source of heat.
8 Do not allow the power cord to touch hot surfaces.
9 NEVER IMMERSE THE MOTOR, PLUG AND POWER CORD IN WATER OR OTHER LIQUIDS. USE A WET CLOTH TO CLEAN THEM.
10 NEVER TOUCH THE MOVING PARTS.
11 Do not operate the appliance when it is empty.
12 NEVER FILL THE FOOD BOWL WITH LIQUIDS.
13 The appliance should not be used for food with a hard or tough consistency (e.g.: ice cubes or meat with bones).
14 Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance has malfunctioned in any way. Return the appliance to the nearest authorised Service Centre.
15 Don't let excess cord hang over the edge of a table or worktop or touch hot surfaces.
16 If the power cord is damaged it must be replaced by the Manufacturer or by a Technical Service Centre or a person with similar qualifications in order to prevent any risk.
17 This appliance has been designed for HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY and should not be
used for commercial or industrial purposes.
18 This appliance conforms to the 2006/95/EC and EMC2004/108/EEC directives.
19 The blade is very sharp - handle with care when inserting or removing it from the bowl during cleaning operations.
20 WAIT FOR THE BLADE TO STOP COMPLETELY BEFORE REMOVING THE COVER.
21 Remove the knife blade before emptying the bowl.
22 Don't let excess cord hang over the edge of a table or worktop or touch hot surfaces.
23 In the event that you decide to dispose of the appliance, we advise you to make it inoperative by cutting off the power cord. We also recommend that any parts that could be dangerous be rendered harmless, especially for children, who may play with the appliance or its parts.
24 Packaging must never be left within the reach of children since it is potentially dangerous.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1 Fit the bowl onto the power unit – turn in a clockwise direction until it locks ①.
2 Fit the blade ②.
3 Place the lid onto the bowl and turn clockwise until it locks ③.
Your mini chopper will not operate unless the bowl and lid are correctly engaged.
4 Switch on by continuously pressing the control button half way down for speed 1 and all the way down for speed 2. Alternatively use an on/off pulse action which will operate the motor and keep it running for as long as the button is held down.
5 Reserve the above procedure to remove the lid, blade and bowl.
HINTS
- IMPORTANT - If preparing food for babies or young children, always check that the ingredients are thoroughly blended before feeding.
- When mixing liquid ingredients fill the bowl no more than 1/2 full.
- When processing heavy ingredients, avoid running the motor continuously for periods over 10 seconds without resting.
- Beware of overprocessing some ingredients. Stop and check the consistency frequently.
- Various spices such as Cloves, Dill and Cummin seeds can have an adverse effect on the plastic of your mini chopper and should not be processed.
- To ensure even processing, stop and scrape down any food from the side of the bowl with a plastic spatula.
- The best results are obtained by chopping small quantities at one time.
- Cut foods into small pieces. A large load or large pieces may cause uneven results .
- Before chopping nuts, breadcrumbs etc., ensure that both the food and the blade, bowl and lid are thoroughly dry.
CLEANING
- The bowl (C), cover (A) and blade (B) may be washed in the top part of the dish-washer.
- Use a wet cloth to clean the motor unit.
- Do not use abrasive cloths and detergents.
RECIPES
French Dressing
1.25ml 1/4 tsp salt
Pinch pepper
1.25ml / 1/4 tsp dry mustard
1.25ml / 1/4 tsp sugar
15ml / 1 tbsp vinegar
30ml / 2 tbsp salad oil
Place all the ingredients into the mini chopper and mix until well blended. Use as desired. Note: the oil will separate out on standing, so if necessary mix the dressing immediately before it is required.
Smoked Mackerel Pâté
50g/ 2oz smoked mackerel
25g/ 1oz creamed cheese
salt, pepper and lemon juice (optional)
Process the mackerel until chopped. Scrape down, add the cream cheese and seasonings if desired. Blend until smooth.
Avocado Dip
1/2 ripe avocado (cut into 1/2 "/1cm cubes)
1/2 rlic clove
50g / 2oz natural Greek styled yoghurt
1-2 sprigs fresh dill, roughly chopped
Place all ingredients into the bowl and blend until smooth.
