Frequently Asked Questions - NBPACCP16PA Kogan

How often should I replace the HEPA filter?
The HEPA filter should be replaced every 6 to 12 months, depending on usage and air quality. The filter replacement indicator will alert you when it's time.
Can I wash the HEPA filter?
No, the HEPA filter is not washable. It must be replaced when dirty. Only the pre-filter can be cleaned with a vacuum or mild soap and water.
Why is my air purifier making a loud noise?
Loud noise can be due to a clogged filter, loose parts, or the fan running at high speed. Try cleaning the pre-filter and ensuring the unit is on a stable surface. If the noise persists, contact customer support.
Does the air purifier remove odors?
Yes, the activated carbon filter effectively absorbs cooking smells, pet odors, smoke, and other household odors.
How do I clean the pre-filter?
Remove the pre-filter and gently vacuum it using a brush attachment. For deeper cleaning, rinse with water and let it dry completely before reinserting. Do not use strong detergents.
What does the air quality indicator color mean?
Blue indicates good air quality, green is moderate, orange is unhealthy for sensitive groups, and red is unhealthy. The purifier adjusts fan speed automatically in auto mode.
Can I use essential oils in the purifier?
No, adding essential oils or any liquids to the purifier can damage the filters and the device. Use only as intended for dry air filtration.
How do I reset the filter replacement indicator?
After installing a new filter, press and hold the Filter Reset button (usually a dedicated button or a combination of buttons) for 3-5 seconds until the indicator light turns off.
What is the maximum room size for this purifier?
This air purifier is designed for rooms up to 30 square meters (323 square feet) for optimal performance.
Is it safe to leave the air purifier on all night?
Yes, the purifier is designed for continuous operation. Use sleep mode or low fan speed for quiet nighttime use, and it will automatically maintain air quality.
