TOOLS REQUIRED

  • Panel removal tool • Phillips screwdriver
  • Cutting tool

CAUTION! All accessories, switches, climate controls panels, and especially air bag indicator lights must be connected before cycling the ignition. Also, do not remove the factory radio with the key in the on position, or while the vehicle is running.

DASH DISASSEMBLY

  1. Withthekeyintheonposition,apply theparkingbrake,placetheshifter intolowgear,andthentiltthesteering wheeldownasfarasitwillgo.
  2. Unclipthefactorydashpanel,unplugall switches,andthenremovethepanel. (FigureA)

Note: Take precaution pulling the panel over the factory hazard button.

KIT PREPARATION

  1. Snapthe cutting template onto the dashpanelandmarktheinsideareato becutwithapencil.(FigureA)
  2. Removeanddiscardthe cutting template,thencuttheareasmarkedout inthepreviousstep.
  3. Cutandremovetheradiorearsupport fromthedashcavity.

KIT ASSEMBLY

ISO DDIN radio provision

  1. Attach the radio brackets totheradio usingthescrewssuppliedwith theradio.(FigureA)

  2. Locatethefactorywiringharnessand antennaconnectorinthedash, and completeallnecessaryconnectionsto theradio.Metrarecommendsusingthe propermatingadapterfromMetraand/orAXXESS.

  3. After all connections are made, slide theradiointedash until the brackets click in.

  4. Snapthe ISO DDIN trim plate onto the factorydashpanel.

  5. Reassemblethedashinreverseorder ofdisassembly.
