Once the desired mounting position has been chosen, fasten the mounting bracket to the wall as follows.

WARNING Before drilling the wall, ensure that there are no hidden mains cables or water pipes in the area to be drilled - do not install the appliance directly below an electrical socket.

Important: this heater must either be wall mounted or have the feet fitted as described in this manual – under no circumstances should heater be operated standing directly on the floor or other surface.

  1. Remove the bracket from the heater.
  2. Draw a horizontal line on the wall in the desired mounting position. Mark two points 150mm apart along the line where the centre of the screw holes will be.

  2. Use a spirit level to ensure that the mounting bracket is fixed horizontally, adjust the bracket if necessary.

  3. Re-attach the heater to the wall bracket.

NB This Mini Convector Heater must not be permanently wired to the mains.

Operating Your Mini Convector Heater

  1. Insert the mains plug into the nearest mains socket.
  2. Press the On/Off switch at the bottom right hand side to the on position by pressing 'I', the switch will illuminate to show the unit is powered up.
  3. Rotate the Thermostat clockwise to increase the room temperature, rotate anticlockwise to decrease the temperature.
  4. The heat indicator lamp will go on and off during use to show that the set temperature is being maintained – this is quite normal.

Frost Protection

This heater is fitted with an Anti-Frost device, this operates the heater automatically when the room temperature drops below 10^ C. Note: The Anti-frost function operates when the thermostat is set to the lowest level.

Hint on setting the correct temperature

  1. Set the heater to the desired heat setting as above.
  2. Rotate the Thermostat to the maximum position and allow the room to warm up. Once the desired room temperature has been reached turn the Thermostat anticlockwise until the heater just clicks off then turn it back up clockwise very slightly. The Thermostat will now maintain the room temperature, if necessary, further increasing or decreasing the thermostat control may be required to 'fine tune' the ideal room temperature.

• Always disconnect the heater from the mains power supply before cleaning.
- Clean outside of the heater with a clean damp cloth. Never clean with harsh or abrasive cleaners.
- Do not submerge any part of heater in water or any other liquids.
