How do I set up the GXLD2QM system?

Turn the receiver ON, insert the 1/4" jack into your mixer. Install 2 AA batteries in each transmitter (correct polarity), then turn the transmitter ON. The frequency display will light up, and the system is ready.

How do I perform frequency matching for multiple systems?

Turn all units OFF. On the first transmitter, press and hold the ON/OFF and Frequency Select buttons for 4 seconds until the display flashes. Turn the receiver ON; the RF indicator will flash 4 times. Repeat for the second transmitter. Finally, briefly press the Frequency Select button on each transmitter to complete pairing.

What batteries does the transmitter use?

The handheld transmitters use 2 AA batteries (alkaline recommended). Battery life is over 10 hours.

How do I charge the receiver?

Connect the receiver to a 5V DC power source using the included charging cable. The charge indicator shows red while charging and green when fully charged.

Why am I experiencing audio distortion or dropouts?

Low batteries are the most common cause. Replace transmitter batteries or charge the receiver. Also check for interference from other wireless devices.

Do I need an FCC license to operate this system in the US?

No, most users do not need a license as long as the output is under 50 mW, which this device meets. However, you must not cause harmful interference and accept interference from other devices.

How to use the GXLD2QM system:

1. Turn the receiver ON/OFF switch to ON, the LED indicator will illuminate, insert the 1/4" (6.3mm) input jack into the audio input jack of your audio mixer.
2. Insert (2) AA batteries into the battery compartment of the transmitter, make sure the polarity is correct.
3. Turn the transmitter on, the frequency display will illuminate, you can now use this system.
4. When the receiver battery gets low, please use the rechargeable cable to recharge the built in battery.

Please note:

1. If there is any noise, distortion or audio dropouts when using the system it may be caused by a low battery, please replace the transmitter batteries or charge the receiver battery.
2. Remember to turn the switches to the OFF position when not in use.
3. If you won't be using the system for a long time, please take the batteries out of the transmitter.

Frequency Matching:

If there are multiple sets of units in the same environment, crosstalk may occur (same frequency and ID) it can be resolved by the matching procedure below:

1. Turn both transmitters and receiver OFF
2. First Transmitter: Press and hold the ON/OFF switch and the frequency select buttons for about 4 seconds, the display will flash.
3. Receiver: Turn the power switch ON, the RF indicator will flash 4 times.
4. Second Transmitter: Press and hold the ON/OFF switch and the frequency select buttons for about 4 seconds, the display will flash.
5. A short press on the frequency select button on each transmitter will complete the setup.

CAD Audio hereby warrants that this product will be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of two years from the date of purchase. In the unlikely event that a defect occurs CAD Audio will, at its option, either repair or replace with a new unit of equal or greater value. Retain proof of purchase to validate the purchase date and return it with any warranty claim.

This warranty excludes exterior finish or appearance, damage from abuse, misuse of the product, use contrary to CAD Audio's instructions or unauthorized repair.
