Important Warnings

Before using your appliance read this instructions manual carefully and keep it in a safe place as you may need to consult it in the future.

Before turning on your appliance, and to ensure a safe and correct operation, do not use if:

• It has fallen to the ground;
- You notice any evidence of damage;
- Any anomaly occurs during its operation.

To avoid hazards or deterioration of your appliance through incorrect use it is advisable to read these instructions thoroughly.

Your appliance should not be used for other purposes than the ones intended and solely for household use. Any damage resulting from using the appliance outside this scope, any incorrect use, as well as any manual modifications to the product will not be covered and automatically voids the warranty.

This appliance can be used by children from the age of 8 and by people with reduced physical, sensorial or mental capabilities and/or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given instructions on using the appliance safely and if they understand the hazards involved. Children may not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.

1.1. Power Supply

Make sure the main voltage is compatible with the appliance's. If this is not the case, please consult the Customer Support Service.

1.2. Power Cord and Other Cables

Do not tangle the cord or pull it to disconnect the appliance. Also, keep the cord away from warm surfaces.

Never use the appliance if it has a damaged cable or socket.

Take it to the Customer Support Service for replacement.

1.3. Humidity and Water

Do not use your appliance in humid places. Do not allow the appliance to become wet under any circumstances as this may be dangerous. To avoid fire hazard or electric shock do not expose your appliance to humidity or water. Furthermore, do not place your appliance under water (e.g. for cleaning).

1.4. Cleaning

Before cleaning, be sure to switch off the appliance and remove the plug from the main power supply. Always allow the unit to cool down before cleaning.

To clean the exterior of the product, use a dry soft cloth only.

1.5. General Precautions

- Please follow the instructions in the user manual which will help you to properly install and operate this product and enjoy its advanced features. Please keep the instructions for future reference.

- Read all instructions before using the product.

- Maintenance and service operations are only to be carried out by Customer Support Service.

- Any damage caused by manual modifications to the product is not covered by the warranty.

- If this product is used for other purposes than the ones originally intended, or if it is not correctly connected, the product may become damaged and the warranty will be voided.

- Keep these instructions, warranty card, purchase receipt and, if possible, the box, together with the appliance's inner packaging.

- This appliance is only for domestic use, not for commercial use.

- Appliances can be used by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning how to safely use the appliance and if they understand all hazards involved.

- Always disconnect the mixer from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning it.

- Keep the appliance and its cord away from children. Children shall not play with the appliance.

- Check the power cable and the appliance on a regular basis. If any defect is found, do not operate.

- Do not attempt to repair the unit by yourself. Take it to Customer Support Service, to avoid any hazard

- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the Customer Support Service in order to avoid a hazard.

- Keep the appliance and its cable away from direct sun light, damp places, sharp edges and other dangers.

- Never use your appliance without paying attention! Always unplug the unit when not in use, even for a moment.

- Use only original accessories (dough hooks, beaters).

- Do not use the appliance outdoors.

- Never immerse the unit in water or any other liquids, or allow the unit to come into contact with them. Do not use the unit with wet hands.

- If the appliance should become wet or damp, remove the plug from the mains immediately. Do not put your hands in the water!

- Use this appliance only for its intended purpose.

- Never touch the rotating tools while still in motion; always wait for them to stop.

- To avoid splashes, always put the dough hooks or beater right into the material to be mixed before running.

- Never use this appliance to mix or stir anything other than food.

- Do not use during cooking processes or with boiling liquids.

2.2. Product usage

Preparing the dough hooks or beaters

Always check if the mixer is switched off the mains.

Inserting the dough hooks or beaters

• Insert the two beaters (7) into the appliance's body. Then slightly turn them until they click into place.
• Insert the two dough hooks (8) into the corresponding holes. Then slightly turn them until they click into place.
• Never use beaters and dough hooks together.
  • After use, storage the dough hooks and beaters in the storage box.

Using your dough hooks or beaters

Note: Do not run this appliance for more than 10 minutes without interruption. Allow the appliance to cool down to room temperature before continuing operating it.

Speed control (4):

0: stop 1: slow 5: very fast

Turbo button (5):

For a short high-speed burst; press and release (Pulse action).

To remove dough hooks or beaters

To detach dough hooks / beaters, press the ejection button (1). The ejection button will not work if the speed is not at "0" position.

Short-time operation

The appliance is designed to process average domestic quantities of food; it can be operated without interruption for 10 minutes, maximum.

Then it should be allowed to cool down to room temperature before resuming operation.

Function Instruction

This Mixer is designed for:

• mixing fluids, e.g. eggs or mixing paste
• mixing ingredients.

Operating Procedure

1. Ensure the speed control is at "0" position.
2. Insert the plug into a mains socket (220-240V\~50-60Hz) and switch on the appliance.
3. Place the unit's beating accessory(ies) into the material to be beaten.

Adjust the speed control:

“1” - Dough hooks: butter, potatoes
“2” - Beaters: sauces, milk products, etc.
“3” - Dough hooks: light pastry dough
“4” - Beaters: whipped desserts, cream
“5” - Beaters: egg whites, whipped cream

1. Gently move the unit up and down while beating.

Note: For best results, use a medium-sized, high-sided bowl.

2.3. Maintenance

• Remove the plug from the mains.
• Clean the mixer with a dry cloth after use.
• Wash the beaters or hooks as normal with water and dishwasher detergent.

BECKEN has designed this appliance in order to guarantee maximum reliability. However, if a problem occurs do not attempt to open the appliance - there is a risk of electrical shock. If you are not able to solve the problem, please contact the Customer Support Service of any Worten, Modelo or Continente store in order to be assisted. Worten Equipamentos para o Lar provides a 2-year warranty for manufacturing defects from the date of purchase of the appliance.

WARNING: any attempt to repair the appliance without contacting the manufacturer or seller will void the warranty.

All users must be familiar with these instructions. Knowing what could go wrong can help prevent problems from occurring.

5. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

In order to protect the environment, we strive to reduce the volume of packaging used, limiting it to three easily sorted materials: cardboard, paper and plastic.

The appliance is manufactured using recyclable materials after disassembled by a specialized company. Please comply with local regulations concerning the recycling of all materials.
