1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

ATTENTION
Risk of Electric Shock Do Not Open

Attention: to avoid the risk of electric shock, do not remove the cover. The interior does not contain any parts that may be repaired by the user. Ask for assistance to qualified personnel.
Important Warnings
Before using your appliance, read carefully this instructions' manual and keep it in a safe place, as you may need it for future consultations.
Before you start your appliance, and to ensure a correct use, do not use it if:
- It felt on the ground;
- You notice any evidence of damage;
- Any anomaly occurs during its operation;
To avoid hazards and deterioration of your appliance by an incorrect use, it is advisable to read the instructions carefully and attentively.
Your appliance must not be used to other ends than the ones foreseen in the instructions manual. Your safety is only guaranteed in a household use and not for commercial use. The incorrect use will not be covered and automatically cancels the right to warranty.
Assistance
Be sure that, in case of malfunction, you deliver your appliance for assistance to a qualified technician.

1.1. ENERGY SUPPLY
Check if the voltage of the electric power is compatible with the one mentioned on the appliance (this appliance must be connected to a power supply of 220-240Vac, 50/60Hz). If not, please contact your seller or the Customer Service.
1.2. Power Cord and Other Cables
Unplug your appliance whenever you are not using it.
Do not roll nor pull the cable to unplug the appliance. Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces.
Never use this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, nor if it is not working correctly.
If the power cord is damaged, do not use your appliance, take it to an authorized technical assistance to be replaced.
1.3. Moisture and Water
Do not use your appliance in moist environments. Do not let your appliance subject to get wet in any way, since it may be dangerous. TO AVOID FIRE OR ELECTRIC HAZARD DO NOT EXPOSE THE APPLIANCE TO WATER NOR MOISTURE. Do not put your appliance under water (for example, to wash it).
1.4. General Precautions
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
- Do not let the cord hang over on the edge of a table or counter, nor touch hot surfaces.
- When operating the oven, keep a space of at least four inches on all sides of the oven to allow an adequate air circulation.
- Unplug the appliance from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
- To disconnect, turn the control to "Stop" and then unplug the plug.
- Do not cover the bake tray or any other part of oven with metal foil. This may cause overheating of the oven.
- Do not clean the appliance with metal scouring pads.
- Oversized foods or metal utensils must not be inserted in an electric oven as they may create a fire or risk of electric shock.
- A fire may occur if the oven is covered or touches flammable material, including curtains, draperies, walls, and the like, when in operation.
- Do not store any item on the oven during operation.
- Extreme caution should be taken when using containers of any other material than metal or glass.
- Do not place any of the following materials in the oven: cardboard, plastic, paper or anything similar.
- Do not store any other materials than the manufacturer's recommended accessories in this oven when not in use.

• Always wear protective insulated oven gloves when inserting or removing items from the hot oven.
- This appliance has a tempered safety glass door. The glass is stronger than ordinary glass and more resistant to breakage. Tempered glass can break, but the pieces will not have sharp edges. Avoid scratching the door surface or the nicking edges. If the door has a scratch or a nick, do not use it.
- Do not use the appliance outdoors.
- The temperature of the door or of the outer surface may be higher when the appliance is working.

2.2. Preparation before Use
Before using your electric oven for the first time, be sure to:
- Read all instructions included in this manual.
- Make sure the oven is unplugged and the time knob is in the "OFF" position.
- Remove all accessories and wash them with hot soapy water or in the dishwasher.
• Thoroughly dry all accessories and reassemble them in the oven.

- Plug the oven into the outlet and you are ready to use your new electric oven.
- You may notice some smell or smoke for the first time you use the appliance. This is normal and it is due to the protective substance of the heating elements. So it is advisable that you operate the oven dry for about 15 minutes at first, making sure to keep a good ventilation of the room.
2.3. Functions and Accessories
Please familiarize yourself with the following oven functions and accessories prior to the first use:
- Temperature Knob: Choose the desired temperature from 100°C to 240°C.
- Timer Knob: Turn the knob to the right (clockwise) - the oven will turn off automatically by the end of the selected time and a bell will ring. When setting the timer to less than 5 minutes, turn it to more than 6 minutes and then back to the selected time.
• Power Indicator: It lights up when the oven is turned on. - Grill Rack: For toasting, baking and general cooking in casserole dishes and standard pans.
- Food Tray: To use for broiling and roasting meat, poultry, fish and various other foods.
2.4. Operation
- Place the food to be cooked directly on the wire rack or food tray.
- Close the oven door.
- Select the proper temperature using the temperature knob.
- Preset the proper cooking time and start the oven.
- Make sure to turn the timer knob to "0" to turn off the oven when the cooking is completed.
NOTE: All toasting times are based on meats at a refrigerator temperature. Frozen meats may take a considerably longer time. Therefore, the use of a meat thermometer is highly recommended.
2.5. Cleaning and Care
2.5.1. Maintenance
This appliance has been designed to operate for over a long period of time with a minimum of maintenance. Continuous satisfactory operation depends upon proper care and regular cleaning.
2.5.2. Cleaning
- The exterior surface of the appliance should be cleaned with a clean damp cloth only.

- The oven features a Quick-Clean internal coating. If desired, wipe the internal walls with a damp cloth moistened with mild detergent.
- Wash all accessories with hot sudsy water or in a dishwasher.
- Wipe the door with a clean damp cloth and dry it with a paper or cloth towel.
- Clean the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth.
NOTES: Do not use abrasive cleaners on any part of this appliance.
Always unplug the oven and allow it to cool before cleaning.
Dry all parts and surfaces thoroughly prior to plug in and use the oven.
2.5.3. Storage
- Unplug the unit, allow it to cool and clean it before storing.
- Store the electric oven it its box in a clean and dry place.
- Never store the appliance while it is still hot or plugged in.
- Never wrap the cord tightly around the appliance, use the cord storage area on the back bottom of the oven.
- Do not put any stress on the cord where it is connected with the unit as it could cause it to fray and break.
3. AFTERMARKET
KUNFT has designed this appliance in order to guarantee the maximum reliability.
Do not open the appliance - there is a risk of electric shock.
If you are not able to solve the problem, please contact your seller or manufacturer.
WARNING: any attempt of fixing the appliance without contacting the manufacturer will nullify the warranty.
In case the problem persists, take your appliance to an aftermarket section of any Worten or Continente store in order to solve the problem.
Worten Equipamentos para o Lar ensures for a period of 2 years, counting from the date of purchase of this appliance, a warranty against any found manufacturing defect. The warranty supposes a correct use and maintenance of the appliance, namely according to the instructions expressed in this manual. In case otherwise identified, the malfunctions will not be under the warranty.
The repairing of electrical appliances must only be made by qualified technicians, as otherwise there may occur future complications on the appliances.

To avoid unnecessary dangers, in case there are malfunctions on the cables or other components, repairing must be done by specialized technical assistance, due to the need of appropriate tools.
4. ENVIRONMENT CONSERVATION

Aiming to protect the environment, we try to reduce to a maximum the volume of the packages which are confined to three easy separation materials: cardboard, paper and plastic.
The appliance is made of recyclable material, once disassembled by a specialized company. Follow the local legislation concerning recycling of all materials.
