TOOLS REQUIRED

- Panel removal tool - Phillips screwdriver

CAUTION: Metra recommends disconnecting the negative battery terminal before beginning any installation. All accessories, switches, and especially air bag indicator lights must be plugged in before reconnecting the battery or cycling the ignition.

NOTE: Refer to the instructions included with the aftermarket radio.

Dash Disassembly

1. Unsnap and remove the small trim below the climate controls, then remove one Phillips screw from the radio trim panel. (Figure A)
2. Unsnap and remove the radio trim panel. (Figure B)
3. Remove the panel clips from the factory radio, save them for the kit assembly.
4. Unscrew the factory hazard button, save it for the kit assembly.
5. Remove four Phillips screws to remove the factory radio.

Kit Assembly

ISO DIN radio provision

1. Attach the factory panel clips to the radio housing (Figure A)
2. Attach the factory hazard button to the radio trim panel with (2) of the #8 x 3/8" screws provided. (Figure A)
3. Attach the pocket to the radio brackets with (4) of the #8 x 3/8" screws provided. (Figure B)
4. Slide the radio into the radio brackets/pocket assembly and secure with the screws supplied with the radio. (Figure C)
5. Locate the factory wiring harness in the dash. Metra recommends using the proper mating adapter from Metra or AXXESS. Re-connect the negative battery terminal and test the unit for proper operation.
6. Snap the radio trim panel over the new radio and reassemble dash in reverse order of disassembly.
