1. When connecting the power
A separate outlet

Using several devices at one outlet may cause fire.

Do not touch food or containers at the freezer with wet hands.

Isobutane (R600a) is an environmental-friendly natural gas, but it is flammable.
When transporting and installing the appliance, care should be taken to ensure that no parts of the refrigerating circuit are damaged. Leaking refrigerant can ignite or cause eye injuries. If gas leakage is detected, remove from the room any open flames or potential sources of fire and ventilate the room for several minutes.
To avoid occurrence of a flammable gas mixture in case of leakage of refrigerant the size of the room in which the appliance may be used must be bigger then minimal allowed size, depending on the amount of used refrigerant. The room must be at least 1 m² for every 8g of R600a refrigerant used in the appliance. The amount of used refrigerant is indicated on the label inside the fridge compartment.
Never turn on the appliance showing any signs of damage. If in doubt, consult your dealer.

Installation
- Choose a good location. Place your fridge-freezer where it is easy to use.
- Do not place the appliance close to sources of heat, exposed to the direct sunlight or moisture.
- Make sure that the power supply voltage and type of current which are specified in the instruction are according to the settings in your power supply.
- To provide necessary of air circulation, you should leave enough space behind, on each side and top of refrigerator-freezer. Set the limit stops in the upper corners of the back plate of the device as shown in picture 1. Stops are delivered in the basket door inside the refrigeration cabinet.
- To provide optimal heat exchange and the reduction of power consumption, it is recommended to keep the gap from the top, between the rear and side walls of the device and room walls not less than 5 cm.(picture 2)
- Please, do not remove the round stickers on the back side of the refrigerator. They are performing decoration functions by closing technological holes.

To avoid vibration, the unit must be leveled. If required, adjust the leveling screws to compensate unevenness of the floor. The front should be slightly higher than the rear for better door closing. The front should be slightly higher than the rear to aid in door closing. To easily turn the leveling screws tilt the appliance slightly. Turn the leveling screws counterclockwise (☐) to raise forward part of a refrigerator, clockwise (☐) to lower it.

Before using the appliance clean it thoroughly.

Install accessories such as ice cube box, etc., in their proper places. They are packed together to prevent possible damage during transportation.

Connect the power supply cord (or plug) to the outlet. Don't plug in with other appliances on the same outlet.
Starting
When the appliance is installed let it operate for 2-3 hours at normal temperature setting before filling it with fresh or frozen food. After unplugging the appliance, wait for 5 minutes or longer before reconnecting the plug. Your fridge-freezer is now ready for use.
Climate class
The appliance is designed to operate at the limited range of ambient temperature, depending on climate zones. Do not use the appliance at the temperature out of the limit. Climate class of your appliance is indicated on the label with technical description inside the fridge compartment.

- The initial temperature of the fridge and freezer compartments is -20^ and 3^ respectively. You can now adjust the temperature of the compartments as you want.

NOTE
The actual inner temperature varies depending on the food status, as the indicated setting temperature is a target temperature, not actual temperature within refrigerator. Fridge-freezer function is weak in the initial time. Please adjust temperature as above after using refrigerator for minimum 2\~3 days.
OPTI Temp Zone (Chill)
- Optimum temperature can be chosen by pressing the button to store vegetables or fruits (at relatively low conservation temperature) or other types of food such as meat to be defrosted.
- You can choose optimum temperature range depending on type of food stored.

OPTI-ZONE VEGE. | MEAT- Two modes are available: for storing vegetables or fruits (2°C) and meat or fish (-1°C).
- Vegetable and cold storage food that require humidity control and meat/fish can be preserved fresher according to its type.
- When VEGE. lamp is on, OPTI Temp Zone has the optimum temperature for storing vegetables and fruits. When MEAT lamp is on, OPTI Temp Zone has the optimum temperature for storing meat or fish.
- Chill compartment temperature is maintained within -2^ 3^ regardless of ambient temperature. Chill compartment is the special temperature zone.

Express Frz.
- You can use this function for quick freezing.
- This function is used when you want to freeze the food quickly. Press the Express Frz. Button once. The Express Frz. Lamp turns on and the quick freezing starts.
- The Express Frz. operation takes about 24 hours. When its operation ends, it automatically returns to the previous temperature setting. If you want to stop the quick freezing operation, press the Express Frz. Button once more, the lamp goes out, and the Express Frz. Operation stops and the refrigerator returns to the previous temperature setting.

- On LED Model Exterior Type 1 press Express Frz./ECO Friendly button once to turn the Express Frz.mode on. Press the button again to turn ECO Friendly mode on. Pressing the button third time will turn both modes off and return the previous temperature setting.

NOTE
When the Eco Friendly mode is "ON", the other buttons will not operate. When you don't need this function any more press the Eco Friendly button to return the appliance to its previous temperature setting and turn on other buttons.

- This function tunes on the power saving mode which is useful when you are away for holiday. It helps to reduce energy consumption. It helps to reduce energy consumption. To start the function press ECO FRIENDLY button, the lamp will turn on. To stop the function press the button again.

Self Test
- This function automatically detects if a failure occurs in the appliance.
- If the failure occurs, the buttons do not operate or display indication is wrong, do not turn off the power and immediately contact a local service center.
- If you turn the appliance off it can take much time for a service engineer to detect the failed part.
Lock
For LED Model
- Pressing this button stops operation of other buttons.
- Locking or unlocking is repeated whenever the LOCK button is pressed. (For locking hold the LOCK button for 3 seconds. For unlocking hold the LOCK button for 3 seconds).
- When LOCK is activated, pressing the other buttons would not work.

- When the door of the fridge is opened for a while (\~30 sec.; \~1 min.), the alarm sounds.
- Please contact the local service center if the warning continue to sound even after closing the door.
- You can turn door alarm on and off by pressing Door Alarm button shortly.

• This button turns the appliance on and off.
- Turning on and off is repeated whenever the ON/OFF button is pressed.
(To turn the appliance off hold the ON/OFF button for 7 seconds. To turn the appliance on press the button shortly).

Store vegetables and fruits.

- Fresh '0' Zone
Store only meat or fish. If the vegetables or fruits are stored they can be frozen.

Fresh '0' Zone temperature can be changed by setting as follows:
- When the fridge compartment is set on 6^ C , temperature in Fresh '0' Zone is 4 ± 2^ C .
- When the fridge compartment is set on 3^ C , temperature in Fresh '0' Zone is 0 ± 2^ C .
- When the fridge compartment is set on 0^ , temperature in Fresh '0' Zone is -3 ± 2^ .
How to separate the OPTI Temp Zone drawer (Optional)
To separate the drawer pull it forward as much as possible and then lift it up with both hands.

To separate the cover of the drawer first take out the vegetable drawer. To do it pull the drawer forward and the lift it up.
Then:

How to separate the vegetable drawer
Remove the lower basket from the door by lifting it up.
Pull the drawer until it stops and slightly lifting it up pull it to take it out.

On the bottle rack bottles can be stored.
You can invert the bottle rack and place it under the shelf.
This will free more space for the lower shelf.

Lift it and drag it to yourself for reverse in order to restore to a full shelf.

- You can place container with ice tray in upper or middle drawer of freezing compartment.

Removing / Installing freezer drawers
• To ensure good air circulation in the appliance, insert the freezer drawers all the way
- If large quantities of food are to be stored in the freezer the upper or middle drawer taken of the freezer compartment can be out of the appliance and food can be stored directly on the wire shelf. (wire shelf is applicable to some models only)
- Freezer compartment is provided with wire shelves to maximize the food storage capacity.
• To remove one of the freezer drawer do the following:
- Pull the drawer until it stops;
- Lift the front part up and remove the drawer.

- Put the drawer on the guides at the angle of 45^ ;
- Lower the front part to one level with the guides;

Storing Food
CAUTION!
- Do not store food which goes bad easily at low temperature, such as banana, and melon.
- Before storing hot food let it cool down. Placing hot food into the appliance can spoil other foods.
- When storing the food, use a container with a lid. This prevents moisture from evaporating and help to keep the taste and nutrients of the food.
- Do not block air vents with food. Smooth circulation of cold air keeps fridge-freezer temperature even.
- Do not open the doors frequently. Opening the doors lets warm air to enter the appliance and cause the temperature to rise.
- Do not store too much food in the door baskets for it may prevent the door from complete closing.
- Do not store bottles in the freezer compartment — they may break when frozen.
- Do not refreeze food that has been thawed. This causes loss of taste and nutrition.
- Do not store pharmaceutical products, scientific materials or other temperature sensitive products in the refrigerator. Products that require strict temperature control must not be stored in the refrigerator.
- If you want to freeze quickly warm products, put them into lower drawer of freezer compartment and press the Express Frz. Button.
- To ensure good air circulation in the appliance, insert the freezer drawers all the way.
Cleaning
- Before Cleaning. Be sure to unplug the power.
- Exterior and Interior.
Clean the outside of the fridge-freezer with a soft cloth soaked with hot water or liquid detergent. If you use a detergent, be sure to wipe it with a clean wet cloth. - After Cleaning.
Check that the power cord is not damaged, and that the power plug is tightly inserted into the outlet.
WARNING!
Be sure to dry the appliance with a cloth after washing it with water. Do not use abrasive, petroleum, benzene, thinner, hydrochloride acid, boiling water, rough brush, etc, as they may damage parts of the fridge-freezer.
General Information
Power Failure:
1\~2 hour power failure does no harm to the foods stores. Try to avoid opening and closing the door too frequently.
If You Move:
- Remove all food and other items from the refrigerator. Fix the inner movable parts (shelves, drawers and door basket) securely.
• In order not to damage of adjustable refrigerator legs turn them counterclockwise before the transportation. - Refrigerator should be transported in upright position by any type of covered transport. Should safely fix the refrigerator, in order to prevent any shock and fall inside vehicle during transportation.
- Do not expose refrigerator to impact forces during load handling.
Before switch on:
• In the cold season after refrigerator transportation and installation, do not turn it on at least 12 hours.
Anti-Condensation Pipe:
- The anti-condensation pipe is installed around the front side of the appliance to prevent condensation.
- The appliance may feel hot at these places, especially right after installation or when ambient temperature is high.

Anti-Condensation Pipe
To Reverse the Doors
- The appliance is designed with reversible doors so that they can open both on the right and left sides to suit your kitchen design.
CAUTION!
However, when you want to reverse the doors, you must call to service agent. Reversing the doors is not covered by the warranty.
Refrigerator work features
CAUTION!
As a result of thermal strain for components of a refrigerator appliance can be heard crackling noise that is not a defect and doesn't affect efficiency of the appliance. This special sound when the thermo-regulator and compressor and turned on is a normal state, which appears during the working process of appliance's electric installation.
The gas refrigerant produces a slight noise even when the compressor is not running (this is not a defect.)
While refrigerator appliance working process can be heard:
- flick of the temperature relay;
- murmur of refrigerant flowing round cycle;
- cracking noise because of the materials deformation by temperature.
All that is not defect and doesn't affect efficiency of the appliance.
Lamp Replacement (For bulb lamp applied model only)
- Unplug the power cort from the outlet.
- Remove the room lamp lid by taking down while pulling its back projection.

CAUTION!
Lamp capacity is MAX 30W.
The lamp will remain "ON" for 7 minutes if the door is left open and then it is "OFF" for safety. (If you reopen the door, the lamp is "On").
NOTE
You must check the O-RING, which is made by rubber and prevent electric spark. Don't touch the lamp, in case of light on the long time. Because it can be very hot.
