Frequently Asked Questions - CS-E15GKDW PANASONIC

How often should I clean the air filter?
Clean the air filter every 2 weeks under normal use. A dirty filter reduces efficiency and can cause icing. To clean, remove the filter, vacuum or wash with mild detergent, and dry thoroughly before reinserting.
What does the Nanoe-G feature do?
Nanoe-G releases hydroxyl radicals that inhibit airborne bacteria, viruses, and mold spores. It also suppresses allergens and odors, improving indoor air quality.
Can I install the air conditioner myself?
No, installation requires professional expertise due to refrigerant handling, electrical connections, and proper drainage. Always consult a certified technician.
Why is my air conditioner not cooling properly?
Check if the filter is dirty, the thermostat setting is correct, and the outdoor unit is not obstructed. Also ensure doors and windows are closed. If problem persists, contact service.
How do I use the timer function?
Press the Timer button on the remote to set the desired ON or OFF time. Use the +/- buttons to adjust hours. The unit will automatically start or stop at the set time.
What refrigerant does this unit use?
The CS-E15GKDW uses R32 refrigerant, which has lower global warming potential compared to older refrigerants. It is highly efficient and environmentally friendly.
How do I activate the sleep mode?
Press the Sleep button on the remote. The temperature will gradually increase by 1°C per hour for 2 hours, then maintain that level for energy savings and comfort during sleep.
What is the recommended maintenance for the outdoor unit?
Keep the outdoor unit free from debris, leaves, and dirt. Ensure at least 30cm clearance around it. Periodically check the fins for damage and clean them with a soft brush if needed.
How do I reset the filter cleaning indicator?
After cleaning the filter, press the Filter Reset button on the remote or the unit (refer to manual) to turn off the indicator light. The light usually flashes after 500 hours of use.
What should I do if the remote control stops working?
Replace the batteries with new ones (two AAA). Ensure the remote is pointed at the unit and within 7 meters. If still not working, check for obstructions or contact support.
