1. Important Safeguards

When using the appliance, please follow the below safety precautions:

The following chart indicates the degree of damage caused by wrong operation.

Warning: Indicates that may cause death or serious injury.

Caution: Indicates hazards that may cause human injuries or property damages.

The following symbols can distinguish the instruction types that need to be strictly followed.

These symbols mean prohibition.

These symbols mean requirement that must be followed.

Caution

When the appliance is in use or just after use, the surfaces may become hot and hot steam is released through the air outlet. Keep yourself at a safe distance from them. Do not touch the hot parts such as the housing or get your face or hands close to hot steam and air outlet to avoid getting burns. Be careful of hot steam and air when you pull out the basket.

When cooking foods which are greasy or marinated with sauce, please wrap the food with aluminum foil to avoid the food grease or sauces from spilling onto the heating elements and cause fire.

If using the aluminum foil or the baking paper to bake, make sure they do not touch the heat elements. Please pay attention to the appliance during cooking to avoid fire.

If the appliance gives off smoke or catches fire, you should disconnect the power source at once or turn off the master switch under a safe situation. You should pull out the basket when there is no smoke.

When touch the hot part, always wear the oven gloves to avoid getting burns.

If the appliance is not in use for a period, grease may accumulate on the heating element. Excessive smoke may occur when it is used again which is normal.

Do not cover the appliance surface, air inlet or air outlet with any objects especially metal objects, heat-insulated or inflammable materials. It is to avoid appliance malfunction due to overheat.

Make sure there is at least 10cm clearance above the appliance, on its surrounding and back for ventilation.

Do not operate the appliance when the power cord is tangle or hang the power cord over the edge of table, counter-top or let it touch any hot surface, it may damage the power cord.

Do not place heavy objects on the power cord. Never clip, modify, stretch or twist the power cord.

After use, remove the plug and let the appliance completely cool down before moving, cleaning or checking.

Be sure to grasp the power plug itself when plug in or remove the plug, do not grasp the power cord.

Warning

	Do not use the same socket with other high wattage appliance or use the extension cord beyond its capacity. Never use power supply other than 220-240V to avoid overload and danger.		The appliance is intended to be used in household or similar applications such as staff kitchen in shops, offices and other working environments; by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments.
	To avoid danger, please use the appliance according to the operation manual. Do not use it outdoors or other purpose except baking food. Misuse can cause potential injury.		Never put inflammable materials (e.g. paper or cardboard, etc.) or sealed containers (e.g. plastic, cans or glass bottles, etc.) into the appliance for baking.
	Never allow children to operate, clean, perform maintenance on the appliance alone or play as toy. Please put the appliance and its power cord in a place not reachable by children.		Please make sure the appliance is connected to power socket with earth wire. To avoid hazards, never connect the appliance to a timer switch or separate remote control system.
	The appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, if they have given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.		Do not operate the appliance in following places:- Humid environment or near water- Near heat sources such as electric oven, and induction cooker- On unstable surface- Near inflammable or non-resistant to heat objects (e.g. table cloth, curtain and towel etc.)
	Never leave the appliance unattended when in use.		Do not frying extremely greasy food or fill with oil, as it may cause a fire hazard.
	Do not touch, plug in or remove the plug with wet hands, it can cause electric shock.		Never immerse the appliance, power cord or plug in water or let them wet, it can cause electric shock or fire.
[BZYH]	Always check the condition of the appliance, power cord and plug. To avoid hazards, stop using the appliance immediately and contact Shun Hing Electric Service Centre Ltd. for checking and repairing if any part is damaged.		Do not attempt to modify the appliance by yourself or repair with any unauthorized parts, otherwise it will cause hazards and the warranty will become invalid.
	Do not use deficient or loosen socket. Before use, make sure the plug is dry and inserted firmly.		Always unplug the appliance from the power socket after use to avoid electric leakage due to insulation parts degeneration.

4. First use

1. Remove all the packaging materials and stickers from the appliance.
2. Pull the basket base out of the appliance and place the basket base on a flat and stable surface. Then press the basket release button and lift up the basket from the basket base.
3. Thoroughly clean the basket, basket base, bake pan and cake pan with hot water, some washing-up liquid and non-abrasive material such as sponge, then wipe them dry.
4. Use a damp cloth to clean the inside and outside of the appliance, then wipe it dry.
5. Place the basket into the basket base and then slide the basket base back into the appliance.

※ Caution: The appliance may produce some smoke for the first use and it is normal.

5. Operation Instructions

5.1 The cooking temperature and time of different auto functions are shown on the below table:-

5.2 Basic Operation

1. Insert the plug to the power socket, a beep sound will be heard. The display screen will switch on, the cooking time (☐) will show 10:00 and the temperature (☒) will show 160°C, which indicate the appliance is in stand-by mode.
2. Pull the basket base out of the appliance.
3. Put the food in the basket. Do not fill the basket beyond the MAX indication.
4. Slide the basket base back into the appliance.
5. If the cooking temperature is required to adjust, press the temperature control [+] or [-] button to set the temperature. The temperature control range is between 80^ and 200^ .
6. If the cooking time is required to adjust, press the cooking time [+] or [-] button to set the time. The cooking time range is between 1 minute and 30 minutes.
   ※ You can follow step 5 and 6 for setting, or alternatively press【Auto function】button directly to select the auto function which the default temperature and time are set.
7. After setting, press [Start] button to turn on the appliance, a beep sound will be heard. The baking icon (_) and the fan icon (_) on the display screen will flash and the cooking time will start to count down.
8. After cook, 5 beep sounds will be heard. The baking icon ( 🎯 ) on the display screen will light on. The fan icon ( ⚙ ) will keep flashing, the fan will continuously operate for 20 seconds, then the appliance will go back to the stand-by mode.
9. When the appliance is not in use, the plug must be removed from the power socket.

5.3 Pause and Cancel Function

1. To pause the operation during the cooking, such as checking the degree of baking result or add the spices. Press 【Start】button, the appliance will be paused after 20 seconds. Press the 【Start】button again to resume the operation.
2. Or directly pull the basket base out of the appliance, the appliance will pause the operation within 5 seconds. Slide the basket base back to the original position, the appliance will resume the operation.
3. To stop or cancel the operation, press【Cancel】button, the appliance will return to stand-by mode after 20 seconds.

5.4 Cooking Guide

1. To detach the basket from the basket base, the basket base must be put on a flat and stable surface before pressing the basket release button, then pick up the basket from the basket base.
2. Frosted food may take longer time to cook. The cooking time should be adjusted according to the actual cooking condition.
3. The cooking time is varied with different food temperature, types, quantity etc. The cooking time should be adjusted according to the actual cooking condition.
4. Always pay attention to the food during cooking to avoid food burns.
5. During the halfway of cooking, you can pull out the basket and shake the food, so the baking effect can be more even.
6. If baking the cake, please put the cake batter into the cake pan, then put the cake pan in the basket.
7. If cooking the small-sized ingredients such as sesame, please put the ingredients into the cake pan, then put it in the basket for baking.

6. Cleaning and Storage

1. Before cleaning, the power plug must be removed and let the appliance cool down completely.
   ※ Hints: Take out the basket base can make the appliance cool down more quickly.
2. When clean the accessories such as the basket, basket base, cake pan and bake pan, please use soft material such as sponge and detergent to clean. Rinse with water and rub them dry. Put them in place after cleaned.
3. If food residues stick on the basket or the basket base, put the basket in the basket base and fill in hot water with some washing-up liquid. Let them soak for 10 minutes, then rinse and wipe them dry.
4. Clean the inside of the appliance and accessories after every use to avoid grease or food residues accumulated and cause smoke or fire during use.
5. For the inside and outside of appliance, use a damp cloth to clean and wipe them dry.
6. Never use poisonous or corrosive detergent or harsh tools (e.g. metal wired brush) to clean.
7. When store, put it in a box and store in a dry place.

8. When store, never wrap the power cord tightly around the appliance or put any pressure on the power cord, it is to avoid power cord damage.

9. Troubleshooting

2. The food cooked unevenly.	- The food is overlapped.	- During the halfway of cooking, you can pull out the basket and shake it, so the food can be redistributed.
3. The food is not done.	- Food is too much.	- Reduce the food quantity.
	- The cooking temperature is too low.	- Adjust a higher cooking temperature to cook.
	- The cooking time is too short.	- Put the food into the appliance and cook again.
4. The basket base cannot slide back to the appliance.	- Food filled in the basket is beyond the MAX indication.	- Do not fill the basket beyond the MAX indication.
	- The basket is not placed in the basket base correctly.	- Push down the basket into the basket base until a click sound heard.
5. White smoke comes out of the appliance.	- The cooking food is too greasy.	- As the food is too greasy, a large amount of oil will leak into the basket base. The oil produces white smoke and the appliance may heat up more than usual.

8. Special Avowal

1. The content in the operation manual has been checked. Our company reserves the hermeneutic power to any printing errors or misunderstanding on the content.
2. If there are technical improvements on the appliance, the operation manual will be updated in new version without prior notice. The product appearance and specification are subject to the manufacturer information.

9. After Sales Service

For any defect, in the judgment of technician from Shun Hing Electric Service Centre Limited, caused under normal use, our company is responsible for repairing or replacing any parts of the said electrical appliance free of charge within one year guarantee period commencing from the date of purchase. Any defective part which has been replaced shall become our property. Warranty service does not cover the repair or replacement of consumable parts such as the housing, basket, and other accessories, etc. If the appliance is used improperly, for commercial or semi-commercial use, or not following the instructions in the operation manual, the warranty becomes invalid and our company will refuse any liability and repairing cost for the damage caused.
