Frequently Asked Questions - WB924 Equator

How do I install the Equator WB924 dishwasher?
Installation should be done by a qualified professional. Ensure the appliance is level, connected to a cold water supply (3/4 inch hose), and properly grounded. Refer to the manual for detailed steps.
What detergents are recommended for this dishwasher?
Use only phosphate-free detergents designed for dishwashers, such as powder, gel, or tablets. Avoid hand dishwashing liquid as it causes oversudsing.
How do I clean the filter?
Remove the bottom rack, unscrew the cylindrical filter, rinse under running water, and scrub with a soft brush. Clean monthly to maintain performance.
Why is my dishwasher not draining?
Check if the drain hose is kinked or clogged. Also clean the filter and ensure the garbage disposal (if connected) is empty. If persists, inspect the drain pump.
Can I use vinegar to clean the dishwasher?
Yes, run an empty cycle with 2 cups of white vinegar placed in a dishwasher-safe container on the top rack to remove limescale and odors. Do not mix with bleach.
How do I reset the control panel?
Press and hold the Start/Reset button for 3 seconds to cancel a cycle. For a full reset, turn off the circuit breaker for 1 minute, then restart.
What is the warmest temperature achievable?
The dishwasher heats water up to 65°C (149°F) during intensive cycles. It uses an internal heater to maintain temperature.
Can I place plastic items on the bottom rack?
No, plastic items should only be placed on the top rack to avoid warping from the heating element. Ensure they are dishwasher-safe.
How do I adjust the rinse aid dosage?
Open the rinse aid dispenser lid, turn the dial to a higher setting (1-6) for more rinse aid per cycle. Usually set to 3 for standard water hardness.
What does the error code E1 mean?
Error E1 indicates a water inlet problem. Check that the water supply valve is open, hose is not kinked, and water pressure is adequate. Restart after fixing.

Filter assembly

For best performance and results, the filter assembly must be cleaned. The filter efficiently removes food particles from the wash water, allowing it to be recirculated during the cycle. For this reason, it is a good idea to remove the larger food particles trapped in the filter after each wash cycle by rinsing the semicircular filter and cup under running water. To remove the filter assembly, pull on the cup handle in the upward direction. The entire filter assembly should be cleaned at least once a month. To clean the coarse filter and the fine filter, use a cleaning brush. Then, reassemble the filter parts as shown in the figures left and reinsert the entire assembly in the dishwasher, positioning in its seat and pressing downward. The dishwasher must never be used without the filters. Improper replacement of the filter may reduce the performance level of the appliance and damage dishes and utensils.

▲ WARNING!

Never run the dishwasher without the filters in place.
