Frequently Asked Questions - WASL3T201 AEG-ELECTROLUX

What to do if the machine does not fill with water?
Check that the water tap is open and the inlet hose is not kinked or blocked. Clean the filters in the inlet hose and at the tap. If the problem persists, error code E10 will appear.
How to clean the drain filter?
Unplug the appliance and wait for the water to cool. Open the filter flap, place a container underneath, turn the filter to drain, then unscrew it completely to remove fluff. Clean it with clean water before putting it back.
Why doesn't the door open at the end of the cycle?
The door remains locked as long as the lock symbol is displayed. If the program is finished but the symbol remains lit, it may be due to the Rinse Hold option. Run a drain or spin program to drain the water.
What do error codes E20 or E40 mean?
E20 indicates a drainage problem (blocked filter, kinked hose). E40 means the door is not properly closed. Check the door and make sure it is fully engaged.
How to use the steam function?
The steam programs (Steam Refresh and Steam De-wrinkle) are intended for dry or once-worn garments. Do not use detergent. For the refresh program, max load 1 kg. At the end of the cycle, garments may be damp; let them air for 10 minutes.
Can liquid detergent be used with all programs?
Yes, but for programs with Prewash, it is not recommended to use liquid detergent. Place the dispenser flap in position B for liquid detergent. Do not exceed the MAX level.
How to activate child safety?
Press the Stains/Prewash (9) and Spin (10) buttons simultaneously for 6 seconds until the lock symbol appears. To deactivate, repeat the operation.
What is the maximum capacity for the cotton program?
The maximum capacity for the cotton program is 6 kg. For synthetics, 3 kg; for wool, 1 kg. Respect these limits for optimal washing.
How to perform a maintenance wash?
Run an empty wash with a cotton program at the highest temperature (95°C) and biological powder detergent. This cleans the drum and removes residues. Do this regularly, especially after low-temperature washes.
What to do in case of frost?
If the appliance is installed in an unheated room, drain the residual water: close the tap, disconnect the inlet hose and let the water drain into a container. Run a drain program, then unplug the appliance. Before reusing, make sure the temperature exceeds 0°C.
