Always wear safety gloves. Do not pull the appliance by the handle. The kitchen cabinet and the recess must have suitable dimensions. Keep the minimum distance from the other appliances and units. Electrical connection WARNING! Risk of fire and electrical shock. All electrical connections should be made by a qualified electrician. The appliance must be earthed. Make sure that the electrical information on the rating plate agrees with the power supply. If not, contact an electrician. Always use a correctly installed shock- proof socket. Do not use multi-plug adapters and ex- tension cables. Make sure not to cause damage to the mains plug and to the mains cable. Con- tact the Service or an electrician to change a damaged mains cable. Do not let mains cables to come in touch with the appliance door, specially when the door is hot The shock protection of live and insula- ted parts must be fastened in such a way that it cannot be removed without tools. Connect the mains plug to the mains socket only at the end of the installation. Make sure that there is access to the mains plug after the installation. Ifthe mains socket is loose, do not con- nect the mains plug Do not pull the mains cable to discon- nect the appliance. Always pull the mains plug Use only correct isolation devices: line protecting cut-outs, fuses (screw type fuses removed from the holder), earth leakage trips and contactors. The electrical installation must have an isolation device which lets you discon- nect the appliance from the mains at all poles. The isolation device must have a

Do not change the specification of this appliance. Make sure that the ventilation openings are not blocked. Do not let the appliance stay unattended during operation. Deactivate the appliance after each use. Internally the appliance becomes hot when in operation. Do not touch the heating elements that are in the appli- ance. Always use oven gloves to remove or put in accessories or ovenware. Be careful, when you open the appliance door while the appliance is in operation. Hot air can release. Do not operate the appliance with wet hands or when it has contact with water. Do not apply pressure on the open door. Do not use the appliance as a work sur- face or as a storage surface. Always keep the appliance door closed when the appliance is in operation. Open the appliance door carefully. The use of ingredients with alcohol can cause a mixture of alcohol and air. Do not let sparks or open flames to come in contact with the appliance when you open the door. Do not put flammable products or items that are wet with flammable products in, near or on the appliance. WARNING! Risk of damage to the appliance. + To prevent damage or discoloration to the enamel: — Do not put ovenware or other objects in the appliance directly on the bottom. — Do not put aluminium foil directly on the bottom of the appliance. — do not put water directly into the hot appliance. — do not keep moist dishes and food in the appliance after you finish the cook- ing. - be careful when you remove or install the accessories. Discoloration of the enamel has no effect on the performance of the appliance. It is not a defect in the sense of the warranty law. Use a deep pan for moist cakes. Fruit jui- ces cause stains that can be permanent.
WARNING! Risk of injury, fire or damage to the appliance. Before maintenance, deactivate the ap- pliance and disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket. Make sure the appliance is cold. There is the risk that the glass panels can break. Replace immediately the door glass pan- els when they are damaged. Contact the Service. Be careful when you remove the door from the appliance. The door is heavy! Clean regularly the appliance to prevent the deterioration of the surface material. Remaining fat or food in the appliance can cause fire. Clean the appliance with a moist soft cloth. Only use neutral detergents. Do not use abrasive products, abrasive cleaning pads, solvents or metal objects. If you use an oven spray, obey the safety instructions on the packaging. Do not clean the catalytic enamel (if ap- plicable) with any kind of detergent. INTERNAL LIGHT + The type of light bulb or halogen lamp used for this appliance, is only for house- hold appliances. Do not use it for house lighting. WARNING! Risk of electrical shock. + Before replacing the lamp, disconnect the appliance from the power supply. + Only use lamps with the same specifica- tions.

HEAT-UP INDICATOR COOKING ZONES

FAST HEAT UP FUNCTION
The Fast Heat Up function decreases the heat-up time. Activating the Fast Heat Up function: Touch and hold © for more than three sec- onds. If you activate the Fast Heat Up function, the bars on the display À flash one by one to show that the function operates. (à) Useful information Do not put food into the appliance when the Fast Heat Up function operates. The Fast Heat Up function is not availa- ble with every heating function. An acoustic signal sounds if the Fast Heat Up function is not available for the set function ENERGY SAVING The appliance contains features which help you save energy during everyday cooking: + Residual heat: — When the heating function or pro- gramme operates, the heating ele- ments are deactivated 10% earlier (the lamp and fan continue to operate). For this feature to operate, the cooking time must be longer than 30 minutes or you must use the clock functions (Duration, End, Time delay) = When the appliance is off, you can use the heat to keep food warm. The clock/Residual heat display shows the remaining temperature, and the bars show the temperature as it decreases. + Cooking with the lamp off - Touch + to deactivate the lamp during cooking.
BOL TIME OF DAY To show the time of day. To change the time of day, re- fer to ‘Setting the time of day. | DURATION To set how long the appliance operates. END To set when the appliance deactivates. You can use Du- > | ration and End at the same time (Time delay) if you want the appliance to activate and deactivate automatically later.
Use the Count Up Timer to monitor how long the appliance operates. It starts to count when the appliance starts to heat: Reset the Count Up Timer: Touch and /X at the same time until the display shows "00:00" and the Count Up Timer tarts to count up again You cannot use Count Up Timer when Duration or End is set.

WITH CORE TEMPERATURE
SENSOR The core temperature of the food is default and fixed in programmes with core temper- ature sensor. The programme ends when the appliance is at the set core tempera- ture.

CORE TEMPERATURE SENSOR
The core temperature sensor measures the core temperature of the meat. When the meat is at the set temperature, the appli- ance deactivates. There are two temperatures to set: + _ The oven temperature: refer to the table for roasting in the recipe book. «+ The core temperature: refer to the table for the core temperature sensor in the recipe book. Only use the core temperature sen- sor supplied or the correct replace- ment parts.
1. Activate the appliance.
2. Put the point of the core temperature
sensor (with #7 on the handle) into the centre of the meat.
3. Put the plug of the core temperature
sensor into the socket at the front of the appliance. The display shows 27 flashing and the default set core temperature. The temperature is 60 °C for the first oper- ation, and the last set value for each subsequent operation.
4. Touch A or V/ to set the core tem-
perature. You can set the core temperature only when 27 flashes. If 27 is in the display but does not flash be- fore you set the core temperature, touch "© and A\ or V/ to set a new value.

The core temperature sensor must stay in the meat and in the socket during the cooking. While the appliance calculates the approximate duration time, the val- ue of the Count Up Timer function Shows in the Timer / Residual heat display. When the first calculation ends, the Timer/Residual heat dis- play shows - and then the approxi- mate duration of the cooking. The appliance continues to calcu- late the duration during the cook- ing. The display updates at inter- vals with the new duration value.
7. When the meat is at the set core tem-
perature, the core temperature and A flash. An acoustic signal sounds for two minutes. Touch a sensor field to deactivate the acoustic signal.
8. Remove the core temperature sensor
from the socket and remove the meat from the appliance. WARNING! Be careful when you remove the core temperature sensor. It is hot. There is a risk of burns.
9. Deactivate the appliance.
When you put the core tempera- ture sensor into the socket, you cancel the settings for the clock functions.
When you cook with the core tem- perature sensor, you can change the temperature shown in the Tem- perature / Time display. After you put the core temperature sensor in the socket and set a heating func- tion and temperature, the display shows the current core tempera- ture.

INSERTING THE ACCESSORIES
ENGLISH 17 + The current oven temperature + The current core temperature The set core temperature changes into the current core temperature and the current oven temperature changes into the set oven temperature.
Baking tray: Push the baking tray between the guide bars of the shelf support. Wire shelf: Push the shelf between the guide bars of the shelf support and make sure that the feet point down. Wire shelf and baking tray together: Put the wire shelf on the baking tray. Push the baking tray between the guide bars of the shelf support. (i) Useful information: + All accessories have a small indentation at the bottom on the right and left edge to increase the safety. Always make sure that this indentation is at the rear of the
18 www.electrolux.com appliance. This indentation is also an an- ti-tip device. + The high rim around the shelf is a device which prevents cookware from slipping off.
FUNCTION Use this function to save your favourite set- tings of temperature and time for a heating function or programme:
1. Set the temperature and time for a
heating function or programme. Touch and hold (Æ] for more than three seconds. An acoustic signal sound. Deactivate the appliance.
Using My Favourite Programme function:
- To activate the function touch [4]. The appliance activates your favourite programme.
- To deactivate the function touch () The appliance deactivates your favourite programme. When the function operates, you can change the time and tempera- ture. CHILD LOCK The Child Lock prevents an accidental op- eration of the appliance. Activating and deactivating the Child Lock function:
1. Deactivate the appliance with D. Do
not set a heating function. Settings menu ENGLISH 19 2: Touch and hold (D and N at the same time for 2 seconds. An acoustic signal sounds. SAFE comes on or goes out in the display. CONTROL LOCK You can activate the function only when the applance operates. The Control Lock prevents an accidental change of the heat- ing function. Activating/deactivating the control lock function:
1. Activate the appliance.
2. Activate a heating function or setting.
3. Touch and hold (D and NX at the
same time for 2 seconds. An acoustic signal sounds. Loc comes on/goes out in the display.
You can deactivate the appliance when the control lock is on. When you deactivate the appliance, the control lock deactivates. SETTINGS MENU The settings menu lets you to add or re- move functions from the main menu (for example: you can set on or off the Residual heat indicator). Settings menu has five set- tings (from SET to SÉTS) Indicator of the setting Description Value to set menu
You can set the settings menu only when the appliance is off. Activate the Settings menu:
1. lfnecessary, deactivate the appliance
2. Touch and hold [_] for three seconds.
The display shows "SET1" and "1" flashes. Touch A / V7 to set the setting, Touch OK .

The Automatic switch-off works with all oven functions, apart from Light, Low temperature cooking, core temperature sensor, Duration, End, Time delay.
BRIGHTNESS OF THE DISPLAY
There are two modes of the display's brightness: + Night brightness: — When the appliance is deactivated, the brightness of the display is lower be- tween 22:00 and 06:00. + Day brighiness: — When the appliance is activated. — Ifyou touch a sensor field (apart from ON/OFF) during the night brighiness mode, the display goes back to the day brightness mode for the next 10 seconds. — When the appliance is deactivated and you set the Minute Minder. When the Minute Minder function ends, the dis- play goes back to the night brightness mode. COOLING FAN When the appliance operates, the cooling fan activates automatically to keep the sur- faces of the appliance cool. If you deacti- vate the appliance, the cooling fan can continue to operate until the appliance cools don
WARNING! Refer to “Safety information chap- ter. Notes on cleaning: Clean the front of the appliance with a soft cloth with warm water and a clean- ing agent. To clean metal surfaces, use a usual cleaning agent. Clean the oven interior after each use. Then you can remove dirt more easily and it does not burn on Clean stubbom dirt with a special oven cleaner. Clean all oven accessories after each use and let them dry. Use a soft cloth with warm water and a cleaning agent. If you have nonstick accessories, do not clean them using aggressive agents, sharp-edged objects or a dishwasher. It can cause a damage to the nonstick coating. CATALYTIC CLEANING The walls with a catalytic coating are self- cleaning. They absorb fat which collects on walls while the appliance operates. SHELF SUPPORTS Removing the shelf supports ENGLISH 21 To support this self-cleaning process heat the appliance without any food regularly:

Valid for telescopic runners: The retaining pins on the telescopic runners must point to the front. To clean the door remove it. CAUTION! Be careful when you remove the door from the appliance. The door is heawy. There is a risk of injury or damage to the appliance: Removing the door
1. Open the door as far as it goes.
2. Fuly press the clamping levers (A) on
the two door hinges.
8. Close the door until it is at an angle of

side and pull it away from the appli- ance at an upwards angle. Put the door with the outer side down on a soft and level surface to prevent scratches.
