INSTRUKCJA OBSŁUGI
Szanowny Kliencie,
Thank you for choosing the Neno Medic T06. The device you have purchased is a non-contact thermometer that measures body or object temperature using an infrared light wave sensor. Please read the instructions below before use.
01. PRECAUTIONS
- Do not use the non-contact thermometer in any way other than that described in the instructions. The thermometer is suitable for both domestic use and as a medical product.
- Do not immerse the thermometer in water or other liquids. When cleaning the device, refer to the instructions under "Cleaning and storage".
- The thermometer should be stored in a dry, clean place away from the sun. The thermometer works best at a temperature of 10^ C– 40^ C and a humidity: 15%–95% R.H, non-condensing.
- Do not touch the thermometer sensor.
- Sweat, hair, headgear, etc. may underestimate the measured temperature. Ensure that the sensor does not cover the bare skin of the person being tested.
- Do not drop the product, disassemble the device into its original parts, or carry out repairs or modifications yourself.
- Do not keep the thermometer near strong electrostatic fields or magnetic fields, which can cause measurement errors.
- If problems occur, stop using the device and contact manufacturer.
- Do not dispose of either the product or the battery in the container for mixed municipal waste. Follow the prevailing laws regarding the disposal of electronic equipment and batteries.
- If the device will not be used for a long period of time, remove the batteries to avoid the risk of damaging the thermometer.
- Do not put new batteries and partially used batteries in the device at the same time. This can damage the device.
Caution: keep thermometer out of reach of children. Do not throw batteries into fire. The thermometer is not a substitute for medical examination and recommendations.

04. USE OF THE DEVICE
- Installing batteries:
a. Remove the battery cover.
b. Insert two AAA batteries. Make sure the battery terminals are turned the right way.
c. Replace the battery cover.
NOTE: Incorrectly installed batteries can damage the thermometer.
If the batteries or device have traces of leakage or mould on them, stop using them immediately.
Do not keep batteries near a fire or throw them into a fire. This could lead to an explosion.
Do not store batteries in rooms with high temperatures and humidity.
To avoid short circuits, do not keep batteries or metal objects (such as coins or keys) near electrical equipment.
- Preparation for measurement:
Follow the instructions below to ensure the most accurate temperature measurement:
a. Before measuring, brush the hair off the subject's forehead and clean the skin of sweat.
b. Select child or adult mode using the "Mode" button.
c. When taking a measurement, aim the thermometer at the centre of the subject's forehead, above the eyebrows. Hold the thermometer at a distance up to 5 cm from the subject. When you press the measurement button and wait until you hear the beep to start the measurement and then the beep to finish, the value of the temperature measurement taken will be shown on the display of the device.
d. If the test person's body temperature differs significantly from the temperature in the room where the measurement is taken, the test person should wait at least 5 minutes in the measurement room before taking the measurement.
e. A cold compress or other methods of cooling the forehead in people with a fever will mean that the measured temperature may be lower.
f. The temperature in the room where the measurement is taken should be stable. Do not take the measurement in rooms with high air flow, such as rooms cooled with fans or ventilation systems.
g. The thermometer should be in the same room where the measurement is taken. If the thermometer has been brought in from another room, leave it in the measurement room for at least 20 minutes before taking the measurement.
h. Do not expose the thermometer to strong sunlight.
- Making a measurement:
a. Forehead temperature measurement:
Select forehead mode using the "Mode" button. Aim the thermometer sensor at the forehead of the person whose temperature you want to measure. Press the measurement button and hold down until you hear the completion signal. If the result does not appear on the display, this means that the distance of the thermometer was too great. Remember not to change the distance from the end of the first beep until you hear the completion signal and the result is displayed.
b. Measuring room and object temperature:
Select the object mode using the "Mode" button. Aim the thermometer sensor at an object or at a distance of 10 cm from objects to check the room temperature. Press the measurement button and wait for the result.
- Viewing of stored measurements
When the device is switched on, press the "Memory/ Mute" button to view the measurements stored in memory. Measurement 01 is always the last measurement taken by the unit. If there is no stored measurement in the device's memory, the sequence number will be displayed normally, but instead of the temperature measurement, the display will show "---". The thermometer can store up to 20 temperature measurements. If you take more measurements the oldest stored result will be deleted to make room in the memory for a new measurement. Measurements taken for objects are not stored in memory.
05. ERROR MESSAGES
- Hi - measured temperature too high, outside the measurement range.
- Lo - measured temperature too low, outside the measuring range.
- Er1 - operating temperature outside the range 10\~40°C
- ErC - an error occurs when data is read from or written to memory or temperature correction is not completed.
- When the battery voltage drops below 2.5V ± 0.1V , the low battery symbol appears on the display. Replace the
batteries.
- Blank screen:
a. The thermometer switches off automatically after a moment of inactivity, this is an intentional action of the device - restart the device by pressing the power/measurement button
b. Batteries incorrectly installed - ensure battery terminals are facing the correct way
c. Dead batteries - replace batteries with new ones
d. The display does not start despite the above instructions - contact the service department
06. CLEANING AND STORAGE
- Do not touch or press the device's sensors.
- To clean the thermometer, remove the batteries and then clean the sensors with a cotton swab and the casing with a slightly damp and soft cloth.
- Note: Keep water away from the lens during the cleaning process. Otherwise the lens may be damaged. Sensors can be scratched if cleaned with a hard object, which may result in inaccurate readings. Do not clean the thermometer with caustic cleaners. Do not immerse any part of the thermometer in liquid during the cleaning process and do not allow liquid to penetrate the thermometer.
07. TYPICAL HUMAN BODY TEMPERATURE
The human body is a complex, biological system and the range of temperature that can be considered 'normal' depends in large part on what part of the body we measure and on factors such as age, sex, skin colour and skin thickness. Women's body temperature is higher than men's by about 0.3°C. In addition, body temperature in women increases by an additional 0.3-0.5°C during ovulation.
