Pan support, Control knobs

When using the hob, all its accessory components are subject to wear, such as the pan supports. These can become stained due to the fatty residues deposited over time during cooking, or due to the dragging of the pots.

■ Take off the Pan support.
■ Immerse them for a few minutes in a solution of warm water and neutral detergent.
■ Rub with a not-abrasive sponge and dry with a soft cloth.

N.B. To avoid the aesthetic deterioration of the pan supports, it is advisable to clean them thoroughly immediately after each use.

Attention, don't wash the pan supports in the dishwasher.

White residues on the pan supports are due to normal rubbing with the pots and don't affect the quality and performance of the product.

Also to clean the knobs, use a soft cloth and a mixture of warm water and neutral detergent.

Top plate

Attention, it isn't recommended to pour water on the worktop to prevent it from penetrating inside the product and causing damage.

■ To keep the surfaces in good condition, they must be cleaned regularly after each use, after having allowed them to cool.
■ Regularly clean the surface of the hob using a cloth soaked in hot water to which neutral not-abrasive detergent has been added (for stainless steel hobs, rub following the direction of the steel brushing).
■ Dry the hob carefully after cleaning it.
■ The stainless steel parts of the appliance may become discolored over time. This is normal due to high temperatures. Each time the appliance is used these parts should be cleaned with a specific product for stainless steel.

BURNERS

Flame spreaders and enamelled burner lids are inevitably subject to wear and tear and can get stained when using your appliance.

■ Remove the burner lids and Flame Spreaders by pulling them upwards and away.
■ Immerse them in boiling water with a little neutral detergent.
■ After cleaning and washing them, dry them by rubbing them carefully. Make sure that the holes / grooves from which the flame comes out are clean and completely dry.
■ Clean the fixed parts of the burner cup with a damp cloth and then dry.
■ Gently wipe the ignition and flame control device (thermocouple) with a well-wrung pan and dry it with a clean cloth.
■ Before replacing the enamelled lids and flame spreaders on the respective burner cups, make sure that the injector is not obstructed to avoid burner operating problems.

■ Re-assemble the Auxiliary, Semi-Rapid, Rapid and Triple Crown burners as follows :

Technical diagram of a mechanical assembly with numbered parts for identification

  1. Place the flame spreader (4) on to the burner cup (5) so that the ignition device and the flame supervision device extend through their respective holes in the flame spreader. The flame spreader must click into place correctly.

  2. Place the burner lid (1, 2, 3) onto the flame spreader (4) so that the retaining pins fit into their respective recesses.

Adjustment of minimum level of the flame

Control handle Tap Scaling ring

The adjustment screw is positioned on the side of the tap

① Turn the taps down to minimum
② Remove the knob from the tap and with a small bladed screwdriver adjust the screw positioned on the tap.
③ The correct adjustment is obtained when the flame has a length of about 3 - 4 mm.

  • For butane/propane gas, the adjusting screw must be tightly screwed in.
  • Refit the control knob.
  • Make sure that the flame does not go out by quickly turning from maximum flow to minimum flow. If it does then remove the control knob and make further adjustments to the gas flow, testing it again once the adjustment has been made.

④ Repeat this process for each one of the gas taps.
