How do I perform the first installation?

After connecting the antenna and power, turn on the receiver. The first installation wizard will appear. Select your OSD language, country, and enable LCN if desired. Then choose Auto Search to scan for channels.

Can I record TV programs?

Yes, the DVB 116 T2PVR supports PVR via USB. Connect a USB drive (formatted as FAT32 or NTFS). Press the REC button on the remote to record the current program. Use the LIST button to manage recordings.

How to use the timeshift function?

Press the PAUSE button during live TV to pause the broadcast. The receiver will save the paused content to the USB drive. Press PLAY to resume from where you paused. You can set timeshift length in the PVR config menu.

What video and audio formats are supported?

How do I set up the child lock?

Go to System Setting > Child Lock. Enable the lock, set a parental rating (0-18), and change the PIN if desired. The default PIN is 0000. Locked channels will require the PIN to view.

How to change the language of the on-screen menu?

Press MENU, go to Preference Setting > OSD Language. Use the arrow keys to select your preferred language and press OK to confirm.

Why is there no signal?

Check the antenna connection and ensure the correct frequency band (VHF/UHF). Go to Installation and run Auto Search. If using an active antenna, enable Active Antenna in the installation menu to supply 5V.

How do I reset the receiver to factory settings?

Go to System Setting > Factory Reset. Enter the PIN (default 0000) and confirm. This will delete all channels and settings.

Can I adjust the aspect ratio?

Yes, go to AV Setting > Aspect Ratio. Options include 16:9, 4:3 PanScan, 4:3 LetterBox, and Full Screen.

How do I use the remote control for text/teletext?

Press the TTX button on the remote to access teletext. Use the color buttons (red, green, yellow, blue) for page functions. Press EXIT to return to TV.

3) BASIC FUNCTIONS

3.1 First Installation

First installation shall setup some important configures.

User can select OSD Language, Country, and LCN from this menu; when it is set completely, User can use "Next" to search channels.

4) INSTALLATION

Press "enter" or "up" to into first submenu item.

4.1 Auto Search

1. Move the cursor to "auto search", then press "enter" to into Auto searching page.
2. During scanning, press "EXIT" key to stop and exit scanning.

4.2 Manual Search

1. You need to configure relevant parameters including:
   Frequency(KHz): input relevant digitals to modify it
   BandWidth: set it to 6 MHz, 7 MHz, 8 MHz.
2. Start search, press "ENTER" key to start manual scan.

4.3 Channel Filter

Set to search all of channels or only unencrypted channels.

4.4 Country

Select the different country.

4.5 LCN

Set the logical channel number will be searched or not.

4.6 Active antenna

Set the antenna voltage to on or off.

5) CHANNEL

5.1 Channel Manager

1. Channel Manager menu includes: Delete, Skip, Lock and rename channel.
2. Press UP/DOWN key to choose the Channel, then press the 4-color key on the remote controller
3. Red key set or cancel lock Channel, green key set or cancel Delete Channel, yellow key set or cancel Skip Channel, blue key set or cancel rename Channel
4. To set or cancel Lock Program, the system will hint to input "0000"
5. Press EXIT key to exit Channel manager page and saving the edit result.

5.2 Favorite List

1. Press UP/DOWN key to choose the line, then press the color keys on the remote controller to set different channel group.
2. After channel is edited, press exit key to exit the menu.

6) PREFERENCE SETTING

6.1 OSD Language

1. Move the cursor onto OSD Language option, Press RIGHT key to enter OSD Language List.
2. Press UP/DOWN key choose language.
3. Press ENTER key to confirm language selection.

6.2 Preferred Subtitle

1. Preferred subtitle be select, it will display the selected subtitle automatically while the stream has the suited subtitle.
2. Set another preferred subtitle in the "2nd Preferred subtitle".

6.3 Hard Hearing

Hard hearing is a special service for someone who's hard of hearing.

6.4 Preferred Audio

1. Preferred audio option: Press RIGHT key to enter the currently supported Audio Language list.
2. Set another preferred audio in the "2nd Preferred audio".

7) SYSTEM SETTING

7.1 Child Lock

1. Set system lock or not
2. Set the parental rating from 0 to 18.
3. Change pin code can revise system Password:

1. Old password, defaults password as "0 0 0 0".
2. New password ,press 0 - 9 number key to input new 4-digit password.

7.2 Date Time

If the "Time Mode" is set to "Auto" then, "Time Zone" and "DST" shall be active for editing. If the "Time Mode" is set to "Manual" then, "Date" and "Time" shall be active for editing.

7.3 Factory Reset

There will be Reset to factory default, password "0000".

7.4 Upgrade

Refer to SOFTWARE UPGRADE by usb.

7.5 Version

System software information, including H/W Version, S/W Version, F/W Version, Build Date and Time, Press RECALL key to return previous menu.

7.6 Auto Standby

Set the timer of Auto Standby.

8) AV SETTING

8.1 SPDIF

Can set Mute, PCM and Bitstream.

8.2 Aspect Ratio

Aspect Ratio can be set as 16: 9, 4: 3PanScan, 4: 3 LetterBox and Full screen.

8.3 Video Output

Video Output mode can be set as CVBS, RGB, YUV.

8.4 Video Resolution

1. Move the cursor to Aspect Ratio option, press ENTER/RIGHT to pop up the options. Then press UP/DOWN key to move circularly and choose options.
2. Video Output mode can be set as:
   576i_25, 720p-60, 720p_50, 1080i_30, 1080i_25, 1080p_60, 1080p_50, 480p_60, 480i_30, 576p_50

8.5 HDMI audio

Set audio output of HDMI to Mute, HDMI PCM, HDMI RAW.

1. This menu helps the user to change the filter mode from movie to music or from music to photo and so on.

1. This menu helps the user to select and play a movie from a list of movies
2. Supported file formats are MPG, AVI, VOB, MP4, MKV, MOV, WMV, TS.
3. Press enter key to play movie, then press play\pause\stop key to control.
4. Press exit key to exit movie file

3) MUSIC

1. This menu helps the user to select and play a song .WMA, WAV and MP3 format will be supported.
2. Press play\pause\stop key to control.

4) PHOTO

1. Contain the Photos, Supported file formats are JPG, PNG and BMP.
2. Press enter key to play photo.
3. Press yellow key can displays the thumbnail view of the photos.

5) RECORDER MANAGER

1. The recorded TV programs stored in storage device.
2. Press the colour key to rename\delete the record file.
3. Play the file as movie
