Read the User Instructions carefully before use.

- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
- The product must only be used for its intended purpose and in accordance with these instructions.
- Place the product on a level, dry, and water and heat resistant surface. Make sure there is enough space around the product for the air to circulate properly.
- The product gets very hot when in use. Only touch the handle when using the product, to avoid getting burned.
- Note that hot steam comes out when lifting up the lid.
- Never leave the product unattended, especially when there are children nearby.
- Do not touch the product, the power cord or the plug with wet hands.
- Do not expose the product to rain or moisture, or knocks and blows. Do not use the product if it is damaged or not working properly, or if the power cord or plug are damaged.
- Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the rated voltage on the type plate. The product must only be connected to an earthed mains supply.
- Do not carry or pull the product by the power cord. Keep the power cord away from heat, oil and sharp edges.
- The product is only intended for indoor use.
- Check the power cord and plug regularly. Do not use the product if the power cord or plug are damaged.
- A damaged power cord must be replaced by an authorised service centre, or qualified person, to ensure safe use.
- Do not try to open the product casing – risk of electric shock.
- Never attempt to dismantle or repair the product. The product must only be repaired by qualified personnel.
- Unplug the power cord and allow the product to cool completely before cleaning it.
- Do not immerse the product in water or any other liquid – risk of electric shock.

USE
BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
- Remove all the protective plastic from the product and unwind the power cord.
- Open the lid and wipe the cooking surfaces with a damp cloth. Wipe the product dry with a dry cloth.
- The first time the product is switched on it may smell a little. This is completely normal and stops when the product has been used a few times.
USE
- Plug in the power cord. The status light goes on.
- Add a little frying fat to the cooking surfaces.
- The status light goes off when the correct temperature is reached.
- Use the handle to open the lid. Pour waffle mix onto the bottom cooking surface. Make sure the mix is evenly spread out and does not run over the edges.
- Close the lid. The status light goes on and off to show that the thermostat is working. This is quite normal.

Fry for 2–3 minutes depending on the temperature and consistency of the mix. Wait at least 1 minute before opening the lid.

Open the lid and take out the waffle with a wooden or heat resistant plastic utensil. Do not use sharp or metal utensils that can scratch the cooking surfaces.
- Pour in more of the mix and fry the next waffle.
- After use, unplug the power cord and leave the product with the lid open. Allow the product to cool completely before cleaning it.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING: Do not immerse the product in water or any other liquid – risk of electric shock and/or material damage.
- Unplug the power cord and allow the product to cool completely before cleaning it.
- Clean the outside and inside of the product with a brush or a soft cloth moistened with a mild detergent.
- Do not use sharp or metal utensils that can scratch the cooking surfaces.
