Frequently Asked Questions - 688170 CaterChef

How do I preheat the pizza oven?
Turn the thermostat to the desired temperature (e.g., 250°C) and wait for the indicator light to turn off, indicating the oven has reached the set temperature.
Can I bake other foods besides pizza?
Yes, you can bake bread, calzones, cookies, and other flatbreads. Adjust temperature and time accordingly.
How do I clean the ceramic stone?
Let the stone cool completely, then scrape off any residue with a plastic scraper. Wipe with a damp cloth. Do not use soap or detergents.
What should I do if the oven does not heat up?
Check that the power cord is plugged in and the circuit breaker is on. Verify the thermostat is set above room temperature. If still not heating, contact support.
How often should I replace the heating elements?
Heating elements typically last several years. Replace them when they show visible damage or fail to heat evenly.
Is the oven safe for countertop use?
The oven is heavy and generates high heat. Place it on a heat-resistant, stable, non-combustible surface with adequate clearance around all sides.
What does the automatic shut-off feature do?
The oven will automatically turn off if it overheats or if the timer expires, preventing accidents.
Can I use aluminum foil inside the oven?
Avoid using aluminum foil as it can block heat circulation and damage the heating elements. Use baking paper if needed.
How do I adjust the temperature for different pizza styles?
For Neapolitan pizza, use 350-400°C for 60-90 seconds. For thicker crusts, use 200-250°C for 10-15 minutes.
Where can I find replacement parts?
Contact CaterChef customer service or visit the official website. Authorized dealers also carry common spare parts.
