Frequently Asked Questions - 422-205 Anslut

How do I install the wall lamp?
First, mount the plastic expander on the wall. Insert two screws into the plastic panel and fit it using self-tapping screws. Connect the power cord: brown (live) to brown, blue (neutral) to blue, green/yellow (earth) to green/yellow. Insert terminal block into the panel, then mount the lamp on the fixed screws and tighten with domed screws. Finally, screw in a bulb not exceeding the max wattage.
What type of bulb does this lamp use?
The lamp uses a standard E27 screw base incandescent or compatible bulb. Do not exceed the maximum wattage indicated on the type plate (typically 40 W).
Can I use the lamp outdoors?
Yes, the lamp is designed for outdoor use as a decorative street lamp. Ensure all connections are weatherproof and the earth connection is properly made.
What is the maximum bulb wattage?
The maximum wattage is stated on the type plate on the fitting. Typical maximum is 40 W. Never exceed this value to avoid overheating and damage.
How do I replace the bulb?
Disconnect the lamp from the mains power supply. Open the lamp cover (if applicable). Wait for the bulb to cool completely. Unscrew the old bulb without touching it with bare hands. Screw in a new bulb of the same type and rating. Reattach the lamp cover before switching on.
Is an earth connection required?
Yes, the fitting must be connected to an earthed power outlet. The green/yellow wire must be connected to the earth terminal for safety.
What should I do if the lamp glass breaks?
Do not use the lamp if the glass is broken. Replace the broken glass immediately. Contact an authorized service center or dealer for replacement parts.
Can I use a dimmer switch with this lamp?
The manual does not mention dimmer compatibility. Using a dimmer may cause flickering or damage. It is recommended to use a standard on/off switch unless specified otherwise.
How do I clean the lamp?
Disconnect the lamp from the mains before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. Do not use water or chemical cleaners. Avoid touching the bulb directly.
What is the difference between model 422-205 and 422-210?
