How do I turn on the Ardes AR1F20 heater?

Plug the heater into a power outlet and set the mode switch to one of the heat settings (Low or High). Use the thermostat dial to set the desired room temperature.

Can I use the heater in a bathroom?

The AR1F20 is not designed for bathroom use. It should be kept away from water and moisture to avoid electrical hazards. Only use in dry indoor areas.

Does the heater have a timer?

No, the AR1F20 does not include a built-in timer. It operates continuously until switched off or until the thermostat reaches the set temperature.

How do I clean the heater?

Ensure the heater is unplugged and cooled down. Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water. The air intake can be cleaned with a vacuum brush attachment.

Why does the heater turn off by itself?

The heater has overheat protection and a tip-over switch. If it turns off automatically, check for blocked air vents or if the unit has been knocked over. Allow it to cool before restarting.

What is the maximum room size for this heater?

The AR1F20 is suitable for rooms up to 20 m² (approx. 215 sq ft). For larger rooms, performance may be reduced.

Can I leave the heater unattended?

SMALTIMENTO

Attention : read this booklet carefully it contains important instructions for a safe installation, use and maintenance.

Important instructions to be kept for future reference.

This unit can be used by children aged 8 and above and individuals with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacity, or lack of experience or knowledge, if they are provided with adequate supervision or have received instructions regarding the use of safety equipment and that they under stand the risks related.

Children must not play with the unit.

Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.

Keep the equipment and its cable out of reach of children younger than 8 years of age.

The surfaces are subject to heating up during use.

The appliance must never be operated by means of an external timer or with a separate remote control system.

If the power cable gets damaged, it has to be replaced only at a service centre approved by the manufacturer.

Do not let the appliance work without pots.

After removing the packaging, check the appliance for any signs of damage.

In case of visible damage, do not use it and contact a qualified technician.

Do not leave parts of the packaging within the reach of children.

This appliance is not a children's toy: it is an electrical device and must be treated with the necessary caution.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR FIRST USE

Before using the device for the first time, operate it without pots for 5 minutes at the maximum temperature in a well-ventilated area to eliminate any odours and fumes due to possible residual traces from production on the internal parts of the device.

Use pots with a base of the same size as the plate.

Use flat-bottomed pots.

In order to save energy, one can switch off the hotplate a short time before completing cooking. The plate releases heat for several minutes after being

switched off.

The cooker is provided with thermostat for temperature setting.

Disconnect the plug from the socket and let the appliance cool down well before cleaning it.

In order to clean the appliance, use a soft or slight damp cloth.

Never use abrasives or chemical solvents.
