Thank you for purchasing this Moulinex appliance, which is exclusively for the preparation of food, and for indoor household use only.
The accessories supplied with the model you have just bought are shown on the label on the top of the packaging.
Safety recommendations
- Read the instructions carefully before using the appliance for the first time: Moulinex disclaims all responsibility for any use that does not conform to the instructions.
- This appliance is not intended for use by people (including children) who are disabled, or people who have no prior experience or knowledge, unless they can be supervised by a person responsible for their safety, or instructed in the use of the appliance. Children should be supervised to make sure they do not play with the appliance.
- Check that the voltage is correct. Any error in electric wiring connection renders the guarantee null and void.
- Always unplug the appliance immediately after use, when cleaning it or in the event of a power cut.
- Do not use your appliance if it is not working correctly, if it has been damaged or if the power cord or the electric plug are damaged. To avoid all risk of danger, have them replaced by an approved Moulinex service centre (see list in the service booklet).
- Any intervention other than cleaning or normal maintenance by the customer must be done by an approved Moulinex service centre.
- Do not immerse the appliance, the electric wire or the plug in any liquid.
- Do not leave the wire hanging within reach of children, or near or in contact with hot parts of the appliance, or near a heat source or sharp edge. Use the cord reel when the appliance is not in use.
- For your safety, only use Moulinex accessories and spare parts that are suitable for your appliance.
- Handle the blade (c1) or the discs (D) with care; they are extremely sharp. It is important to remove the blade by its spindle (b4) before emptying the contents of the bowl.
- When grating or slicing food, always use the pusher (b1) to guide it into the feeder tube, never your fingers or another utensil. Never touch the parts when they are moving.
- Do not use the bowl as a recipient (e.g. for freezing, cooking or sterilising).
Using the appliance
- Take the accessories out of their wrapping and wash them in hot water.
- Place the base unit (a1) on a clean, dry, flat surface and plug in your appliance.
① Use of the speed selector knob (a3): (Do not operate your appliance empty.)

of certain preparations.
- Continuous operation: (a3) (1-speed models) turn to position 1 (max speed).
- Continuous operation: (a3) (2-speed models) turn to position 1 (slow speed) or 2 (fast speed).
- Stop: To stop, bring knob back to position 0.
. Unlock lid: press on (a4) then unlock the lid.
Instructions for use
The paragraph numbers correspond to the numbers on the diagram inserts.
Your food processor allows you to prepare a maximum of 150 to 800 g - Volume of the bowl: 1.5 litres.
- Place the bowl (b3) on the base of the food processor.
- Add the desired accessory.
- Place the lid (b2) on the bowl (b3) and turn it towards the right until you hear a "click".
- Switch on.
② KNEADING / MIXING / CHOPPING
- Fit the metal blade (c1) (remove the protective cover) on to the spindle (b4) and turn it to the locking position.
- Place it on to the central tube of the bowl.
- Put the ingredients into the bowl.
- Place the lid (b2) on the bowl (b3) and turn it towards the right until you hear a "click".
- Switch on.
Preparations
♦ Mixing
You can mix 800 g of light dough (biscuits, cakes) in 1 min 30 to 2 min 20.
♦ Kneading
You can knead a maximum of 600 g of thick dough or pastry (rich shortcrust or shortcrust pastry, bread dough) in 30 seconds.
Warning: Stop the appliance as soon as you see the dough forming a ball.
- Chopping
In 15 to 20 seconds you can chop 150 to 300 g of food: hard foods (cheese, dried fruit), hard vegetables (carrots, celeriac, etc.), soft vegetables (onions or spinach), raw or cooked meat (boned, with gristle removed, and diced), raw or cooked fish. Do not chop foods that are too hard (ice or sugar) or that require fine grinding (wheat or coffee).
③ BLENDER
- Fit the metal blade (c1) (remove the protective cover) on to the spindle (b4) and turn it to the locking position.
- Fit the Spiral System (f1) to the spindle (b4).
- Then put the ingredients into the bowl.
- Place the lid (b2) on the bowl (b3) and turn it towards the right until you hear a "click".
- Switch on.
Preparations
- You can prepare a maximum of 0.8 litres of soups, drinks, pancake or waffle batter.
Warning:
- Never pour boiling liquid into the bowl.
- Maximum operating time: 2 minutes.
④ BEATING / EMULSIFYING / WHIPPING
- Fit the emulsifier (e1) on to the spindle (b4) and turn to the locking position.
- Place it all on the central tube of the bowl.
- Put the ingredients into the bowl.
- Place the lid (b2) on the bowl (b3) and turn it towards the right until you hear a "click".
- Switch on.
Preparations
- You can prepare 1 to 4 egg whites and up to 200 ml of cream.
Warning:
- Never use the emulsifier (e1) to knead heavy dough or mix light dough or batters.
- Never use the spiral system (f1) with the emulsifier (e1). Maximum operating time: 4 minutes.
⑤ GRATING / SLICING
- Lock the desired disc (D) on to the spindle (b4).
- Place it on to the central tube of the bowl.
- Place the lid (b2) on the bowl (b3) and turn it towards the right until you hear a "click".
- Put the foods into the feeder tube and guide them in with the pusher (b1), never with your fingers, nor any other utensil.
- Switch on.
Preparations
- Disc A/D* (Fine grating/ thin slicing),
- Disc C/H* (Coarse grating/ Thick slicing): Grater function: for grating carrots, hard cheese, celery, etc. Slicer function: potatoes for gratin dauphinois, carrots, cucumber, etc.
- Disc E* (Chips): potatoes for chips Prepare a maximum of 500 g of food at a time (no meat nor cold cuts).
⑥ JUICING CITRUS FRUIT (\*)
- Place the filter basket (h1) on the bowl, then turn it towards the right until you hear a "click".
- Place the spindle (h2) on the central tube.
- Position the cone (h3) in its lodging in the filter basket.
- Cut the fruit in half.
- Switch the knob (a3) to speed 1.
- Place half a fruit on the cone and press it down.
Preparations
- You can obtain a maximum of 0.8 litres of juice without emptying the bowl.
- Rinse the filter basket (H1) after every 0.5 litre.
⑦ FRUIT OR VEGETABLE JUICE EXTRACTION (\*)
- Assemble the filter basket (i4) with its filter crown (i3): lower the crown into the basket to clip it in place, so that they form an integral unit.
- Slide the filter basket (i3+i4) on to the motor unit drive (a1).
- Place the lid (i2) on the bowl (b3) and turn it towards the right until you hear a "click".
- To dismantle the filter basket unit (i3+i4), press on the 2 clips of the filter crown (i3) to release it from the filter basket (i4).
- Switch on.
- Feed the chopped foods into the feeding tube and press down lightly with the pusher (i1).
- Do not exceed 250 g of ingredients (apples, carrots) for each operation.
- Maximum operating time: 1min 30.
Preparing the fruit
- Wash the fruit and cut into small pieces if required.
- Remove the stones of plums, peaches, apricots, and cherries and the leaves of the celery.
- Remove the peel of citrus fruits or melons (remove the pips also) and pineapple.
Warning:
Do not use the appliance if the juice extractor unit is damaged.
(*): depending on the models.
Cleaning
- Unplug the appliance, remove and dismantle the accessories.
- Wash, rinse and dry the accessories (they are dishwasher safe).
- Do not use abrasive sponges or objects containing metal parts.
- Never immerse the motor unit (a1) in water. Wipe it with a dry or damp cloth.
- Should your accessories become stained by juices from certain foods (e.g. carrots or oranges) wipe with a cloth dipped in cooking oil then wash as usual.
- Handle the blade (c1) and the discs (D) with care; they are extremely sharp.
What to do if your appliance does not work?
- First check that it is plugged in and switched on at the mains, then:
Check that the bowl (b3) is correctly positioned, that the lid (b2) is locked, that the accessories are correctly fitted, that the speed selector knob (a3) is in the right position.
If these instructions are not complied with, your food processor will not work.
You have carefully followed all these instructions, but your appliance still does not work? In this case, contact your Moulinex dealer or an approved Moulinex service centre (see list in the “Moulinex Service” booklet).

Recipes
- PASTRIES AND DOUGHS (LEAVE TO REST FOR 1 HOUR IN THE REFRIGERATOR)
Shortcrust pastry (For a 28 cm tart tin) u
- In the bowl fitted with the blade, pour 200 g flour, 100 g butter and a pinch of salt.
- Process for 10 seconds then pour 50ml water through the feeder tube while mixing.
- Let the appliance operate until the pastry forms a smooth ball.
Rich shortcrust pastry (For a 28 cm tart tin)
- In the bowl fitted with the blade, pour 200 g castor sugar, 2 egg yolks and 100 g softened butter.
- Process for 30 seconds, then pour 200 g flour, one tsp vanilla essence and a pinch of salt, then process until the pastry forms a smooth ball.
Pizza dough (For one pizza)
- In the bowl fitted with the blade, pour 150 g flour, 1/2 sachet dried yeast, and a pinch of salt.
- Process for 10 seconds then pour 90 g tepid water and 2 tbsp olive oil until the dough forms a smooth ball.
- Leave to rise until the dough doubles in volume (1 hour). Roll out the dough into the desired form.
Pancake batter (16 thin pancakes)
- Pour 2 eggs, 1 tbsp oil, 15 g sugar, 1/2 litre milk and 1 tbsp orange flower water or alcohol into the bowl fitted with the blade.
- Process with the Spiral System for 10 seconds, then add the flour (200 g) and process until you obtain a smooth batter.
- Leave to rest for 1 hour.
• SAUCES
Mayonnaise
- In the bowl fitted with the emulsifier, pour 1 egg yolk, 1 tbsp mustard, 1 tsp vinegar, salt and pepper.
- Mix for 10 seconds. Trickle 250 ml oil through the feeder tube while mixing for 1 min 30.
Tartare sauce
- In the bowl fitted with the blade, add to the mayonnaise, 100 g chopped gherkins and 1 small onion, chopped, snip 1 bunch of herbs (chervil, chives, parsley, tarragon) and 2 tbsp capers, and mix for 40 seconds.
Sauce Cocktail
- In the bowl fitted with the emulsifier, mix into the mayonnaise 1 tbsp tomato concentrate, a few drops of red chilli sauce or Tabasco and a few drops Worcestershire sauce, for 20 seconds.
- SOUP
Cream of leek soup (serves 4)
- Peel 150 g of leeks and cut into slices. Put the sliced leeks into the bowl fitted with the metal blade, chop for 20 seconds. Melt 20 g butter in a saucepan and add the chopped leeks, stir, cover and leave to sweat for 15 minutes.
- Peel 150 g of potatoes. Chop them into large cubes and add them to the leeks. Season with salt and pepper, add nutmeg, then pour in 1/2 litre water and 100 ml milk.
- Cook for 1/2 hour. At the end of the cooking time, pour the mixture into the bowl fitted with the blade, then blend for 40 seconds with the Spiral System.
- VEGETABLES
Gratin dauphinois (serves 4)
- Fit the processor with the spindle (b4) and disc C, grate 70 g hard cheese (cheddar or gruyere). Put to one side. Peel 700 g of potatoes, and slice them in the bowl of the processor fitted with the spindle (b4) and disc H.
- Grease an ovenproof gratin dish and rub with a clove of garlic. Place the potato slices in the dish.
- In the bowl of the processor fitted with the blade, put 2 egg yolks, 200 ml milk, 150 ml single cream, salt, pepper, and grated nutmeg. Blend for 1 minute.
- Pour the mixture over the potatoes. Sprinkle with grated cheese and a few knobs of butter.
- Cook in the oven Th. 7 for 1h.
- COCKTAIL
Raspberry milkshake (serves 2)
- 1/2 litre full cream milk, 150 g raspberries, 1/2 yoghurt, 30 g caster sugar.
- Put all the ingredients into the bowl fitted with the blade, fit the Spiral System in place, then lock the lid. lend for 20 seconds.
- DESSERTS
Yoghurt cake (serves 6/8)
- 1 pot of plain yoghurt (used as measurement), 2 pots caster sugar, 3 pots flour, 1/2 pot oil, 3 eggs, 1 sachet baking powder.
- Pour all the ingredients into the bowl fitted with the blade.
- Process for 2 minutes. The dough should be smooth.
- Pour the dough into a cake tin and cook it at Th. 6 for 50 minutes.
Pound cake (serves 4/6)
- Put 150 g flour, 1/2 sachet baking powder, 150 g sugar, 150 g butter and 3 eggs into the bowl fitted with the blade.
- Process for 2 minutes. Pour into a greased and floured loaf tin.
- Cook at Th. 6 for 55 minutes.
Whipped cream (serves 6/8 people)
- 250 ml whipping cream, cold, 50 g icing sugar.
- Put the cream and the icing sugar into the bowl fitted with the emulsifier, then lock the lid in place. Process for 1 minute.
Egg whites
- Put 2 to 4 egg whites and a pinch of salt into the bowl fitted with the emulsifier, then lock the lid in place.
- Process until the whites are stiff. Take care not to put the pusher in the feeder tube in order to allow plenty of air in the mixture.
