Frequently Asked Questions - NSW-15 Naxa

How do I pair my Naxa NSW-15 smartwatch with my phone?
Download the Smart Wear app from the App Store or Google Play. Enable Bluetooth on your phone, open the app, and select 'Add Device'. Choose 'NSW-15' from the list and confirm pairing.
Can I answer calls directly on the watch?
The NSW-15 supports call notifications and can reject incoming calls, but it does not have a speaker or microphone for taking calls on the watch itself. You must use your phone.
Is the smartwatch waterproof?
It has an IP67 rating, meaning it is protected against dust and can withstand immersion in up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes. Not suitable for swimming or showering.
How do I charge the watch?
Use the provided magnetic charging cable. Attach the connector to the contacts on the back of the watch. A full charge takes about 2 hours.
Why is my heart rate reading inaccurate?
Ensure the watch is worn snugly on your wrist, above the wrist bone. Clean the sensor area and avoid tight straps. For best results, remain still during measurement.
Can I use the watch without the app?
Basic functions like step counting and heart rate can be used standalone, but notifications, data sync, and settings require the Smart Wear app.
How do I reset the watch?
Go to Settings > Reset on the watch, or press and hold the side button for 10 seconds until the logo appears. This will not erase paired data in the app.
What should I do if the watch screen is unresponsive?
Try restarting the watch by holding the side button for 5 seconds. If persists, charge the battery fully. Avoid exposing the touchscreen to water or extreme pressure.
Are replacement straps available?
Yes, you can purchase standard 22 mm quick-release straps from Naxa or third-party sellers. Follow the instructions on the strap to detach and attach.
How do I update the firmware?
Firmware updates are delivered through the Smart Wear app. When a new version is available, you will receive a notification. Open the app and follow prompts to install.
