Frequently Asked Questions - CSR200 Cellini

How do I descale my Cellini CSR200 iron?
Use the self-cleaning function: fill the tank with water, set max temperature, unplug, hold over sink, press self-clean button. Repeat monthly or when steam output reduces.
What type of water should I use?
Use distilled or demineralized water to prevent scale buildup. Avoid tap water in hard water areas.
How do I clean the soleplate?
Allow the iron to cool, then wipe with a damp cloth. For stubborn residue, use a mixture of vinegar and water on a cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners.
Why is my iron leaking water?
This may happen if the anti-drip system is overwhelmed. Ensure the iron is hot enough before using steam, and do not overfill the tank. Empty after use.
How does the auto shut-off work?
The iron turns off automatically if left untouched for 8 minutes horizontally or 30 seconds vertically. Lift or shake to reactivate.
Can I use the iron for vertical steaming?
Yes, the steam boost function allows vertical steaming for curtains, suits, etc. Hold iron upright and press steam button.
What is the warranty period?
Typically 2 years from date of purchase. Check your specific region's warranty terms or contact Cellini support.
How do I store the iron after use?
Empty the water tank, allow to cool, wrap the cord loosely around the base. Store upright in a dry place.
Why is there no steam?
Ensure the tank is filled, temperature is high enough (above minimum), and the steam control is set to a high level. Descale if clogged.
Where can I get spare parts?
Contact Cellini authorized service centers or check online retailers for genuine parts like soleplate, tank cap, or spray nozzle.

- IRONING TIPS

  • Always check first whether a label with ironing instructions is attached to the article. ( refer to the table below for direction.) Follow these ironing instructions in any case.
  • If no ironing-instruction label is provided, but you know the fabric material, please refer to the table below for direction.
The table below is not applicable to those fabrics through special treatment (e.g. shining, frill, projecting etc.). Use low temperature to iron particular fabrics.
  • Always at first divide the clothes according to ironing temperatures. Woolen fabrics and cotton fabrics etc. should be ironed separately.
The iron heats up quicker than cooling it down, therefore, you should start ironing the articles requiring the lowest temperature such as those made of synthetic fiber.
  • If the fabric consists of various kinds of fibers, you must always select the lowest ironing temperature to iron the composition of those fibers. If you don't know what kinds of fiber the fabric is made of, choose one piece that can not be seen easily to find out the best ironing temperature. ( start from low temperature until the most suitable temperature is obtained )
  • Pure wool fabrics (100% wool) may be ironed with the iron set to a steam position. Preferably set steam knob to the maximum position and set the temperature dial to
