The remote control doesn't work. What should I do?
First, check if the batteries are properly installed. If they are, try replacing them with new ones. Also, ensure there are no obstacles between the remote and the infrared receiver on the front panel.
There is no audio or the audio signal is disabled.
Check if the Mute function is enabled on the remote control. Press Mute to disable it. Also, go to Setup > Audio Setup and verify that the audio output (Analog, SPDIF/RAW, or SPDIF/PCM) matches your connection. If the file has multiple audio tracks, press Audio to select the correct one.
No TV signal is displayed via the DVB-T tuner.
Ensure the antenna cable is securely connected to the RF input. Make sure the antenna is working and capable of receiving DVB-T signals. In the DVB-T Setup menu, verify that the correct country is selected. Perform a Channel Scan to search for available channels.
I cannot access files from an external USB storage device.
Check that the USB device is properly connected to the USB Host port. If it's a USB hard drive, ensure it has external power if needed. Verify that the device is formatted in FAT16/32 or NTFS. Also, try a different USB device to rule out compatibility issues.
The memory card inserted in the card reader is not recognized.
Confirm that the card is compatible (SD or MMC) and not locked. Remove and reinsert it. Try the card in another reader to see if it works. The device supports only MMC and SD formats.
No DVB-T channels are found during scanning.
Make sure the antenna is connected and receiving signal. In the DVB-T Setup menu, select the correct country. Choose Auto Scan to scan all frequencies, or use Manual Scan with specific frequency parameters. Wait for the scan to complete.
How do I record a DVB-T program?
Press the REC button while watching a channel to start recording immediately. A red dot will appear. Press REC again to stop. For scheduled recordings, press TIMER to set a recording task. You can also use EPG to select a program and press REC to add it. Note: recording requires an internal hard disk with a FAT32 partition.
How can I play video files with subtitles?
Place the subtitle file (SRT or SUB format) in the same folder as the video file and ensure they have the same filename. During playback, press the SUB-T button to enable or cycle through subtitle options.
How do I update the firmware?
Download the latest firmware from the Sveon website or contact support. Copy the update file to a FAT32 USB drive, memory card, or internal hard disk. In the Files menu, select the update file and press Enter. Do not power off or press any buttons during the update. The device will restart automatically.
How can I copy files between storage devices?
Go to the Files menu. Select the file you want to copy, press Edit and choose Copy. Navigate to the destination folder, press Edit and select Paste. This works only on FAT32 partitions.
