The air circulation should be 2 m³/h per kW of burners.
Connection of the gas hose to the oven
Convenient position is selected by interchanging the hose nozzle and plug according to the location of the main gas inlet valve. If you make a connection with a flexible metal hose, locate a seal between the main gas pipe. The inner diameter of the flexible hose, which the butane hose nozzle is connected, should be 6mm for the house-type gas tubes.
The inner diameter of the flexible hose, which the natural hose nozzle is connected, should be 15mm. The hose should tightly be fitted to the hose nozzle by squeezing with a clamp. The plastic hose end is soaked in hot water for one minute to soften and inserted fully into the hose nozzle. The clamp is fastened securely by a screw driver. The other end of the hose is connected to the gas valve with the same operation.
The hose should be replaced before its last expiry date.
Caution!
Make the oven connection to the gas inlet valve, the hose length must be short and be sure that there is no leakage. The hose used should not be longer than 125 cm for safety.
Gas leakage control
During control, be sure that the control knobs are closed and the gas inlet valve is open. Apply soap bubbles to the connections for leakage control. In case leakage exists, bubble will appear. In such case, check the gas connection immediately. Do not control gas leaks by using fire.
Caution!
Never use lighter or match flame, for controlling the gas leakage.
-
The appliance flexible connector should not be subject to undue forces, either in normal use whilst being connected or disconnected.
-
The appliance flexible connector should not be subject to excessive heat by direct exposure to flue products or by contact with hot surfaces.
Note: The flexible connector must be able to withstand temperatures up to and including 95°C.
-
The socket into which the plug of the appliance flexible connector fits should be permanently attached to a firmly fixed gas installation pipe and positioned such that the hose hangs freely downwards.
-
The appliance flexible connector should be positioned such that it will not suffer mechanical damage; eg abrasion from the surrounding kitchen furniture which may be moved in use, such as a door or drawer, or by being trapped by a stability device.
-
The plug-in-connector should be accessible for disconnection after moving the appliance.
Ventilation
All rooms are required to have a window which can be opened or the equivalent. Some rooms will also be required to install a permanent vent in addition to a window (see
table below).
This unit must not be used in a room with a volume of less than 5m^3 .
| Room Volume | Air vent necessary (effective area) |
| 5m^3 to 10m^3 | 50cm^2 |
| Greater than 11m^3 | No air vent necessary |
| A room 5m^3 to 10m^3 with a door opening to the outside | No permanent air vent necessary |
The above requirements allow also for use of a gas hob but if there are other fuel burning appliances in the same room, it should be consulted to determine the necessary air vent requirements.
The oven is designed to fit into a cabinet of 600mm width. The oven should be built under the kitchen units. You must ensure that it is properly ventilated.
IMPORTANT: If the oven is being installed into a built under oven housing unit ensure that the front rail at the top of the unit is not installed as it could restrict ventilation.
Consult a qualified engineer for advice.

The appliance should not be installed in a room smaller than 6 m^3 . If the room is between 6 m^3 and 9 m^3 , a vent of 65 cm^2 is required. In a room of 9 m^3 to 11 m^3 , a vent of 35 cm^2 is required. For rooms larger than 11 m^3 no vent is required.

Ensure that air can flow freely around the housing area. If the oven is being installed into a fully enclosed built under oven housing unit it may be necessary to cut a small slot in the top of the plinth fitted under the unit. Cut a section 400mm wide and a minimum of 15mm high to allow air to pass under the unit.
Failure to allow adequate ventilation to the appliance may result in over heating or damage to adjacent units.
IMPORTANT: If the oven is being installed into a built under oven housing unit ensure
that the front rail at the top of the unit is not installed as it could restrict ventilation. Lift the oven carefully into position on the shelf, taking care NOT to lift it by the door handle. If you lower the oven door, you will see 4 screw holes, 2 on each side of the oven. The oven should then be secured to the housing by fitting screws into these holes. Remember the housing should not be free standing but secured to the wall and/or adjacent fittings.

Regulation of the minimum flame (for fitters only)
Regulating the oven low-setting nozzle when switching to a different type of gas:
1) Switching from natural gas to liquid gas: Pull off the knobs, remove the panel (see figure 5) and turn the low setting nozzle (see figure 4) clockwise to the end using a screwdriver. Re-assemble the panel and put the knobs back into place.
2) Switching from liquid gas to natural gas: Set the oven thermostat to position "max" and heat the appliance for about 15 minutes. Then set to position "min" and pull off the knobs. Remove the panel (see figure 5) and using a screwdriver, turn the low setting nozzle (see figure 4) anticlockwise. Stop before the flames on the burner extinguish. Then assemble the panel and put the knobs back into place.

After switching to a different type of gas, amend the data on the appliance (type of gas, gas pressure)!
Flames regulation of the oven burner
Because of different gas mixtures in the distribution system, you may have flames with too much or too little air. In such cases, move the air ring to close or open the air flow, until the regular flame is obtained.
Warning: The regulation of the flames must only be carried out by a qualified technician.
How to use your gas oven
The rating plate can be found on the bottom right hand side of the inner door. Before using the oven for the first time, we recommend that you clean it with soapy water, rinse carefully and heat for 30 minutes at maximum temperature. A slightly unpleasant smell may be produced, caused by grease remaining on the oven elements from the production process.
